We stayed at the hotel St George Beach Hotel &Spa Resort Paphos for 5 nights.
we enjoyed very much, the service, the facilities in the hotel and the great staff were really friendly.
We wanted to praise and thank the Chef Lambros Georgiou, who made our vacation even better. My family and I only eat gluten free and some of us are vegetarian too, the chef provided us with great alternatives to the usual menu, ( high-quality gluten-free and vegetarian meals ) and always had a smile on his face and provided us with great service.

We have just got back from a brilliant week at the St.George gardens. Not sure what the official rating for this hotel should be but am struggling to comprehend the negative reviews on here. The location is fantastic, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and maintained well by the daily maid service. Perhaps the two most impressive features of the St George Gardens are the food and the entertainment team. The food was fantatstic with plenty of choice and options for all tastes. The children were well catered for and the adults generally had a meat, fish, vegetarian and pasta choice. The chefs appear to be pretty creative with foods like shark appearing on the menu. The entertainment team were outstanding. Caz, Rich, Alex, Daisy and Christian never stopped trying to enteratin the guests (both adults and children). Whether it was pool side games, quizzes, lilo racing, shuffleboard, water polo, darts - the team worked their socks of and contributed immensely to the enjoyment we got from our holiday. If we were being hyper critical - the All Inclusive option doesn't allow guests from the Gardens to enjoy the benefits of free drinks etc over at the main hotel. This is contrary to what we were led to believe when we booked the trip. Lets hope the management can address this for next year.

Went with no preconceived ideas and thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at the St George Gardens. The hotel is basic but cleaned to a high standard, the maid visited and cleaned the room everyday with the exception of the time my son was laid up with severe hangover. Although by the end of the holiday they just worked round him.
Our apartment was massive with a huge balcony and the aircon worked a treat staying on all day, after the cutoff switch was fettled.
We paid 15 euros for two weeks wifi for two devices which was hit and miss but good enough to post all of your snaps on facebook and good enough to maintain your snapchat streaks( whatever they are).

The food was excellent as good as any higher rated all inclusive I have been to, and the people who were whinging about it must just like to hear their own voices or have a professional chef in residence at home.

The pool bar and the reception bar served a good selection of drinks and believe me there was no watering down going on as most of my drinks (and there were many) would put hairs on your chest and often had to order extra mixer to lower the potency level to drinkable. The local beer was Keo which to be honest aint great anywhere on the island unless out of a bottle. Big shout out to Stella who worked the pool bar for helping me to rediscover my liver.
The entertainment team were excellent and kept my 6 yr very happy at the mini disco. The brought in acts with the exception of the magicians were dire although their appauling lack of talent was hugely entertaining in a sadistic sort of way. The entertainment highlight was Boris a russian visitor who was so stupefied with drink he took over the kids mini disco throwing shapes and wetting his shorts much to the horror of many parents, although our party of friends were hysterical with Boris' antics and were dissapointed when security hustled him off. Well done Boris you made our holiday just that bit extra special.

The entertainment team of Jess, Gogo and AJ were brill too.

The only downside was the fact 2 weeks were not enough. Would happily recommend the gardens to anyone wanting a fun family holiday in Paphos.

Met some fantastic people whilst there and had an absolute ball, which proves its not the hotel or the location that makes your holiday, it is what you make of it yourself. Can't wait to go back one day when my liver goes back to a reglation size.

Completely Ripped Off - Absolutely Disgusting Experience
Went to Ammos Beach Kiosk Bar, belonging to Hotel.
No Price List:
Asked for 3 Bottles of Estrella Damm beer, size 330ml.
Charged €4.80 Euros for one bottle, €14.40 total.
Average price in other bars / hotels, €2.80 Euros.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, as I discovered (too late), everything is an extortionate price.
ZERO RATING

Booked for August 24th through booking.com arrived only to find hotel shut, absolutely nightmare try to get money back. Luckily the hotel next door with very similar name St George’s spa hotel had space, it is an extremely nice hotel, but paid out far more than we expected.

We stayed here for my sisters wedding in October. Reception always helpful. We had four rooms between us. These ranged from a penthouse suite for two with hot tub, a two bed family room for 6 and one bed family room for 4. All had sea view. Lots of steps and lifts and rooms in odd levels but once you get you're bearings it's fine. Rooms made up daily, fresh towels each day and pool towels included - kitchen area with fridge, kettle, cooking rings etc also a hairdryer. Safe €5 refundable deposit. Wifi €10 a week for two devices. I had to input code every time I went on it, some people didn't, all used iPhones/iPads. The nearer to reception you were the faster it was. We had a large balcony on the top floor with impressive sea view, which was never cleaned and collected sooty dust from somewhere so walking around in it brought a mess indoors (and very dirty feet!). Two chairs on balcony not enough for room for 6 and also no airer or clothes line to dry swim wear and towels (there was ample room!) as we were on the top floor we were wary of hanging things over the rails and losing something and it dropping on the dirty floor. Lots of storage space and air con in all rooms. TV as well but only one English Channel, world news! Beds were comfy but sofa beds rock hard!
Pool area fantastic plenty of beds near pool or on grassed area looking out to sea and plenty of seats near pool bar and food nice, special mention to Stella! Very quiet when we were there, only thing that could improve the pool is a slide!
Food - like said very quiet when we were there and food very predictable. It was nice and well cooked. But very samey. Nothing of any spice/heat plenty of meat and veg options rice/potatoes/pasta and kids corner. Chips were often very hard. Plates cleared quickly. Always somewhere to get something to eat and drink. Bar in reception have proper glasses - pool area plastic glasses.
Wedding took place in a marquee near the beach, between this and the next door st George hotel. That hotel is much grander and posher and busier. I preferred this one by far! They made up a long wedding table at dinner for us all to sit together which was nice.
Sea lagoon was lovely with little bridge out to get you over the rough rocks. Really warm with little fish. Fabulous sunsets to watch too.
We caught a bus from the main road a few days, into harbour one way €1.50 and to coral bay beach the other way. We went to a water park at Laura beach hotel 5 min walk away (next to bus stop) 5 big slides all day for €10 adult and €8 children (in October). Spent a lovely day there as went back to our hotel for lunch then went back.
Also supermarket and restaurants on main road, aweful smell of drains on leaving the hotel but never smelt it within hotel grounds.
No night entertainment while we were there but we could go next door to watch there's and use their bar on an evening, was very busy and hard to get sat down so only went twice tended to stay in reception as we were a large group.
All in all I would return, I enjoyed how quiet it was, but the food could be jazzed up a bit, never wanted for anything but just not very exciting.

The hotel is just about a 4 star could do with a make over. Rooms are a bit outdated and things like the towels and bedlinen are well worn. Food was great for all inclusive, kid play area and pool was great, ideal for toddler as its not too deep. Kids club/creche awful! Lady that runs it is very unfriendly and makes it clear that she would rather you stay with the kids than leave them with her. Also the age for the creche is 4 years upwards. However, if you do want to stay and play with your child it is a nice indoor play area to get out of the sun for a bit. We enjoyed the day time by the sea and pook but, the hotel has now changed its policy and for the evening entertainment. You can no longer use their sister hotel (as advertised) unless you want to pay for your drinks. So come the evening you can either sit on concrete steps where the hotel is now holding the shows/kids disco or sit by the pool bar or upstairs in the lounge area which has no music or atmosphere and is boring. The steps are uncomfortable, hard/dangerous for geting up and down and poor access to get your drinks or go for toilet breaks. Its a shame as before the evening entertainment was held at St George Hotel next to the Family Gardens and has a stage, proper speakers and tables with comfortable chairs. The entertainment staff were great but, they were limited by the facilities the hotel gave them to work with.

Booked the St.George Gardens Hotel in Paphos Cyprus, was sold this hotel as 4star when actually it is A rated apartments/Thomson 4T/3star ( all the different terminologies the first choice rep used for explaining the hotel rating) Rooms and food are ok but pool area sun beds and beach area are atrocious .
Don't be fooled by the wide angled photos of a lovely pool area as that is the next door hotel St.George to which we were told that we could use their facilities but when you arrive this is not the case.
What the sales person at love holidays forgot to mention is that on the 1st of September all the entertainment at the St. George Gardens stops and saying we only arrived late on the 27/8/2014 this was more than disappointing. We did see the rep and produced photographic evidence of the dirty run down pool area as well as photographs of the 37 broken sun beds and photos of really dangerous spiked poles from the broken sun beds strewn around the pool area were children were playing not to mention the broken open electic boxes on the floor. The rep did say maybe it was down to our expectations but this is not the case the fact of the matter is that this hotel is substandard. The rep did eventually get the management to remove the sun beds (but this took five days) but the dirty pool with broken tiles remaind not to mention over flowing bins that only got emptied every three or four days. We did ask to be moved but were told this would be at an additional cost of around €796 on top of the £2658 I had already paid for the two of us,so if your thinking of booking this hotel spending your hard earned money then please think again. I will be passing all this onto love holidays and with all the photographic evidence to prove this lets hope they strike this hotel off and refund some of my hard earned money

We stayed at the St George Gardens after booking online. When we were dropped off at 1am and looked towards the entrance I immediately thought the worst!! There was 3 families checking in before us so we had to wait a little while, but otherwise the check in was quick and simple.
Getting to the room on the other hand was a little confusing as there are a few different blocks, quite a few stairs and not a very good lift choice, but when we went back to reception, the guy on the desk happily helped us find it as well as helping with our baggage.
The room was spacious and immaculate, designed for self caterers so there was a kitchenette with kettle and fridge, which was a relief as we had our 9 month old with us. There was a cot already in the room for our son, which was made up with nice crisp white sheets. The free air-conditioning was a life saver as the room was warm.
Our first morning gave us a chance to have a look around when it was light and how wrong I was to think the worst! Beautiful view of the sea, everywhere was clean, looked down to the pool and very few loungers had been reserved and enough loungers for everyone, and lovely looking greenery that you could also lounge in. There's also an indoor pool and gym.
Food was lovely, no complaints there. The staff were all friendly and happy and always made a fuss of our son (which he loved)
We always went to the top bar and watched the sunset, was beautiful to watch. The all inclusive drinks menu was brilliant, lots of choice.
Was always very relaxed at mealtimes, the poolside was always very relaxed, the whole place was just lovely and for us absolutely perfect, because all we wanted was a nice relaxing first family holiday. And we loved that it was all families there was no big groups of drunken guys or girls. We would definitely go back!

We stayed at the gardens during the first two weeks of September, 2 adults and 2 kids aged 9 & 6. We had a fab time and stayed in room 509, which had a lovely a sea view. The food was good, rooms were cleaned every day, friendly staff, hotel was right on the beach, which was a little stoney but still very nice all in all. Very happy with holiday, kids had a great time and were in the pools all day.We where a bit worried before going having read some reviews about the gardens but we really shouldn't have. The only grumble was the seating area where the entertainment took place.
A BIG THUMBS UP

No it isn't free and it isn't that good either. It costs €10 for one week and €15 for 2 weeks for 2 devices only. A right rip off in my opinion as all the hotels we have stated in over the last 9 years have had free Wi-Fi even if only in the public areas or lobby. This paid Wi-Fi was supposed to be available in all rooms but it only worked on the balcony in our room.

The apartment has a separate bedroom, whereas in the studio it’s all in one room, with a partition. We booked both for our family of 5. The apartment was much bigger but with a restricted view, even though I paid for sea views.
