Very very nice hotel, we were there for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay with them.
They were very helpfull, and if you have a question they will do their best to help you.
The breakfast was also very good, and when we were not able to make it to breakfast because we had to leave early because of a tour, they arranged that in the morning there were breakfast packages at the reception waiting for us to take it with us.
The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were good. and nothing to complain about

You really cannot get more central than Hotel No 13. This is a small, boutique hotel right in the centre of Bergen. There are two other hotels on the block (Thon Bristol and Olena), but Hotel No 13 appears to be (at least externally) the best of the bunch.
The hotel is small and the reception doubles up as a bar. This may cause slight delays if you wish to order drinks and a large party is checking in, but we never faced this. The bar is well equipped, offering a wide array of drinks.
Each room seems to be unique and no two rooms are the same. I had a room facing the main street, but it was still wonderfully quiet. The sound proofing is done well. The rooms had a comfortable double bed, but no double duvet - just two single duvets folded at the bottom of the bed. Seems fairly common to make beds this way throughout Norway, but a bit odd if you were not used to it!
The rooms had a flat screen tv, plenty of tea, instant coffee, creamer, sugar and sweetener (and a kettle) and a minibar, with a clear price listing. The room also had a safe and a Bergen tourist guide.
My bathroom was an "all in one" (rather than a separate wc), but understand this is not the same for all rooms. My bathroom had a walk in shower, but with a very short screen and no door. As a result, the bathroom did get a bit wet when showering. The bathroom had an excellent hairdryer in it. A point to note if not travelling alone is that the bathroom wall with the bedroom is made of clear glass below knee height, so worth bearing in mind, if that is something you are uncomfortable with.
Breakfast was served in the basement, which is pretty small (but then, this is a small hotel and we never struggled to find a table). The spread at breakfast was excellent, including Norwegian breakfast, full English breakfast and continental offerings. They had scrambled and fried eggs on platters and people could even ask for omelettes if they wished. Tea and coffee was available as was orange juice.
As mentioned earlier, this really is in a fantastic location a short walk from the harbour and surrounded by bars and restaurants. McDonalds is next door if you were feeling peckish late and there are also a couple of supermarkets in the vicinity. Central Bergen is all walkable from here.
Word of advice - if you wish to get a taxi to the airport, booking through the hotel will save you some money.
I would be happy to stay at Hotel No 13 if I visited Bergen again.

We had a 3 night weekend stay at hotel 13 which is ideally located in the centre of Bergen and only a few minutes walk from the airport train terminus. If you are arriving by air the train is an ideal and inexpensive way to travel to the centre. The rooms are quite small though adequate and the bed was comfortable with a walk in shower en suite — we slept well and although the hotel is in the centre of town we found it quiet at night. Service was fine and check in easy. The rooms have modern decor which has dated a bit though all perfectly fine though not much storage space. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of hot and cold food. With 24 hour reception and only 30+ rooms this hotel is an ideal place from which to explore Bergen.

We stayed here two nights. The location is brilliant, right in the centre of Bergen and just 2 minutes walk from the light rail station.
Our room (603) was very clean and tidy. We bumped into the maid and she was first class really helpful & professional.
The air-con heating in our room didn’t work so we were very cold. We mentioned to reception but the staff said they couldn’t fix it, so the give us a small portable heater instead - it’s a pity they couldn’t move us to a different room so we could keep warm.
We only had a velux window in our room so we had no view. The shower room is very small but it was spotlessly clean and had a heater flooring. The bed was quite small and the pillows are basic, but we slept well overall so no complaints.
Due to the central location there was VERY loud music from a nightclub party outside on Saturday night and then a Palestine rally on Sunday night in the main town square.
The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The lobby area is very smart and we were able to enjoy a game of chess whilst sheltering from the cold/wet weather.
The breakfast was very nice. There was a good selection of food & drink and we can help ourselves from the buffet which was nice.
Overall we had a positive experience and would be interested to stay again. The location is really positive, especially in this price bracket. The only change I would have liked is to be moved into a room with heating when ours didn’t work, but instead we had to make-do with a portable heater.

In Bergen @ Hotel No 13 😊
had very nice stays at the hotel No 13, with individual unique boutique style and designs. No 13 gives a more individual and personalized stay experience. When it comes to service levels, sleep comfort, breakfast and design i rate No 13 very high. They deliver high quality and comfort and are located in the city center with 100 meter’s walking distance from the airport tram (perfect location). This NHR hotel share owner with Oleana and are both operated by the very nice GM Birgitte. From a sustainability perspective No13 clearly do better than average hotel ❤️👍
Simply a nice hotel I recommend much for a Bergen stay 😊. I received very nice deluxe room upgrade 🥂

This hotel is in a great location for a short stay in Bergen as it is central to everything - transport, sightseeing, restaurants etc. The staff are so friendly & helpful. The property is extremely comfortable. The breakfast is great as were the barista coffees. We had a deluxe room with a king bed. We were on the 7th floor with our room facing west. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us in getting the room cool so we were comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel - & hotel brand. This was the 1st time we stayed in a Hotel No 13. We most certainly would source them out in other countries after this experience.

Located at Torgalmenningen you don't get any closer to the heart of Bergen. Apart from the friendly staff at the reception the rest of the staff seemed to have no idea about customer service. Intrusive housekeeping with airpods and the chef at breakfast also had to clean the breakfast area for dirty plates, as these two jobs seemed to be one at this small hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at No 13. It has a simple lobby, usually with just one person at the front-desk-bar (but always a friendly person), and our deluxe room was spacious and very nicely decorated in purple. Breakfast was good... though missing a couple of details (hot food was put out early, under heat lamps, and not very appealing an hour later; also milk but no cream for coffee). The location was absolutely perfect; we felt like we were just a few blocks from everything.

We began and end ended our wonderful recent visit to Norway in Bergen's Hotel No.13, and were very happy with these bookings. The hotel is in a great location with good walking access to every where we looked to go, and the terrific staff enhanced our experience (especially Lene, particularly welcoming and helpful at the front desk from start to finish). The rooms were very comfortable and nice, and we were impressed with the lovely breakfasts, as well. We'd very happily return again!

A great welcome will await you at Hotel No 13. The staff are all very helpful although special thanks go to Lena who made our stay second to none. The hotel is in a great location in a pedestrianised square in central Bergen not far from the light rail terminus. It’s also close to some great restaurants and bars but at the same time, very quiet. Finally, the breakfast. The choice and quality of the offering is amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel too highly and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there on my next visit to Bergen.

Hi, The quickest is taxi, but cheapest is "bybanen" the tram. The bus is pretty quick too, and not very expensive.
