If you like a okey sized hotel room for 2 just to have a place to sleep. This is a okey Hotell. You don’t have no contact with any of the staff, cleaning the room everyday costs extra, so it almost like renting a small room in a collective housing.

This hotel is a good choice if you want to be close to downtown Bergen . The local tram/train called “bybanen “ is across the street from the hotel (just have to walk under the street to cross the road). The room was small but it seemed mostly clean, I did see some fingerprints and other marks on the wall. Comfortable bed. Bathroom looks clean.

The room is good quality and modern touch, but as everything has a modern touch already it shows sign of wear and tear, especially the shower that seem to be in need of maintenance after a few more uses.
The hotell has cut back on things like proper soap for shower, limited towels, no TV and No fridge.
But what made me wrote this review was the low low standard of the breakfast. 150kr for an adult esktra for breakfast. But what they serve you you can buy across the street at Rema 1000 or coop Extra.
They literally were unwrapping the general ham and cheese out of its packaging onto plates Infront of you.
And that was all they had.
Bread, ham and a box empty of scrambled eggs. It would be better if they didn't offer anything at all.

Liked · The hotel is almost new and modern. The self-check-in desk worked fine for us, and we liked it. The light rail stop is behind the corner and it’s easy to reach the city. You have two supermarkets around, a bakery and a fast food local. There's also a restaurant inside the hotel sharing the ground floor, where you can order your breakfast etc. The room was nice, especially the sitting area on the window.

Disliked · Citibox is actually a basic hotel, what its name says. Maybe we've expected a bit more. No TV in the room, no safe, no teapot and no refrigerator. Instead of it you have a proxy kitchen on the ground floor and it can be pretty full sometimes. There you find a microwave, teapot, shared fridge etc. There are lockers and baggage room for additional cost. The mattress on the bed is soft and comfy but the pillows are hard, it should be matched together. We stayed here 4 nights and didn't get even one room service, your room get full of waste quite fast, this is the reason for overall score reduction. The breakfast is really poor, not worth the price one pay, don't take it. Kind of bad idea to activate the elevator with the room card if you're carrying a coffee or a hot teacup from the kitchenette.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. However, there was a weird mat-like feeling to the floor, no coffee or amenities (which we could live with) but really, no glasses to brush your teeth? Also, beware: we booked a confirmed room with Priceline with Citybox Bergen, only to discover when we got there that they had absolutely no record of it and had never heard of Priceline. We were forced to take a full price room at Citybox Danmarksplass because it was 10:30 at night and we were tired. We wouldn't stay there again but if you can get a good rate, book directly with Citybox rather than one of the brokers. Also, the breakfast (not included) was awful. This is a long way from the charming historical neighborhood and you will pay a lot for taxis, so learn to take public transportation.

Easy check in and out with the self-service machines at the lobby. The room was as expected, and the double bed was comfortable. Bring your own cup or water bottle for washing your teeth though.

Danmarks plass tram stop is 300 meters away, so the city center and airport are both easily accessible from the hotel.

My choice of hotel this time was to be chosen solely based on my wallet and the fact that there had been public transport and nice appearance and sleeping comfort.

The hotel was only a few hundred meters from the light rail approximately 25o.

OK to check in where you can use the machines and don't have to talk to anyone, I'm a coward there so I chose to get help.

Check-in went lightning fast and I got my room over 2 hours before the scheduled time, which is a thumbs up from me even if it is not something you can expect.

The room was bigger than I had ordered, got a double bed and was a good deal more square meters than what I had paid for.

It's not a luxury room, but it's what I need. Good shower, but without a shower curtain, so water splashes everywhere in the bathroom. But had received a dose of extra towels.

As I said, no extra fuss in the room or extra coziness. It's bed. A bench and a chair and the bathroom. Fortunately, no television.

Quiet and peaceful, you hardly hear the traffic from the main street.

If you are not going to use the track, it is even shorter to go to the bus stop, which I needed to get to Laksevåg and Loddefjord quickly.

There is a restaurant chain that seems to be popular inside the hotel that they collaborate with called JAJA You can google them. I didn't have breakfast or food there but it is possible. Or cold drink and enjoy yourself.

In one room at the entrance there is a TV for those who depend on it.

Grocery stores approximately 1 minute or 3 minutes' walk from the hotel. Prix variant 1 minute from also open small department on Sundays. And Rema then 3 minutes. The same goes for the bakery, which is open on Sundays. And Peppe's pizza is in the same period aspect.

The light rail is wonderful to use. I bought a 120-hour ticket for Cormorant for NOK 235, then you can travel by bus and train as much as you want.

A chic and not expensive hotel. it's conveniently located at a 30' walking distance to the city center with the option of a tram connecton 15'away from city center and 35' to the airport. The tram station is just 250mt away from the hotel.
The atmosphere is cozy , clean and comfortable. The ckeckin and ckeckout process are automatized and easy to follow.
I would repeat on this hotel if coming to Bergen again

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel.

Self check-in/out. Min human interaction.

Location is not bad. Near the Skyss stop. There's a supermarket across the building. A bit further there's a Rema 1000.

The room is small. Two sides of the bed are agaisnt the wall. There are about 80cm space between the bed and each sides of the walls. There is a long table along the wall on one side and a puff. This really crowds the room. Don't bring big luggage here, there is not enough space.

No TV.

The window cannot be opened.
The bathroom is a nice surprise. It is spacious, as big as the bedroom area, with heated floor.

The common room is quite spacious, right next to the restaurant. The restaurant downstairs is quite busy. Breakfast is available for extra fee.
You can find microwave, fridge, kettle, and paper utensils in the common room. Coffee vending machine is also here.

Overall this is a good budget hotel, good value hotel.

Self-service hotels with information online work well. Good location by the light rail. The room is clean and has a new interior.
The breakfast came as an addition to the price and cannot be recommended. The sausages have dried hard under the heat lamps, fruit and vegetables were cut yesterday. See for yourself before you pay. Instead, have a coffee and croissant at Baker Bruun.

Eg kan ikkje finne noko om frukost. inkludert? evt. kva kostar (voksen/barn)?
Bergen, Norway
Hei, beklager sent svar.

Hi! Easiest would be to take the flight shuttle train («Bybanen») to «Danmarksplass». Takes about 40 minutes, and costs about NOK 38 per adult. :)
