Yes, the hotel is modernly furnished, both in the lobby and in the rooms. Unfortunately, this is only superficial: it lacks simple things that make the stay more pleasant and are sometimes available in 3-star hotels. There is no water in the room, no kettle, the hairdryer has a loose connection, the toilet paper holder is already wobbly, towel racks are in short supply. Unfortunately, the room service was also rather poor; the bed was consistently only made on one side for four days, and the sheet on the other side was hanging on the floor.
The breakfast buffet may look lavish, but the quality is only average.

We stayed here for 2 nights before boarding our ship for the 7 day coastal voyage
The station is about 700m from the hotel. Unfortunately it rained as is common in Bergen on our way to the hotel
Location is great, looking into Bryggen across the harbour. Very central to many attractions like the Floibanen
Room was adequate, nice size bathroom. Quiet stay
We did not get the best service from one of the reception staff who also didn't know the city to well. This was made up for by 1 of the restaurant staff from Poland who was most helpful and able to tell us about many attractions and directions
There are many other restaurants close by and a supermarket around the corner as well as tourist offices just behind the hotel, close to the water
We would stay here again

Nice hotel with very good breakfast.
Had a room on the 2nd floor on the inside side of the hotel overlooking the courtyard garden and bar. There was unfortunately until late music on and again early noise from preparing breakfast. Even with earplugs (which were there) it was still good to hear. Unfortunately so slept badly..
We asked for another room and got this one. It was said that the noise came from the nightclub next door but it was not.. :)
Great beds and good location!

Totally ok hotel, but definitely not by 4-star standard. To have relatively high prices, ⁇ much due to location, one expects a certain standard, which unfortunately is not met.
The rooms are relatively small and not possible to open windows, at least on the 5th floor. The thermostat was broken and the disc you screw on was missing, so it was simply broken. The walls are characterized by wear and stains. The bed is "original", but only the outlet on one side and the light switches live their own life. It seems like they are trying on a hippie approach without success entirely. Dog ok mattress as well as pillows and duvets.
The bathroom is not of the largest, but the layout is simply just poor planning. The shower has both head and rain shower, but all the water runs outside and splashes over the floor including outside the bathroom even with the door closed (which is not a proper door that goes back, only a glass door that goes adjacent with cracks). The sink is of "modern" shape, but again unpractical and you have to practically stand in the toilet to use the sink properly. Clean ok but disappointing that there is plastic glass wrapped in more plastic as standard, which gives a hostel feeling.
Breakfast completely curant, nothing to hurry for and competing chain hotels I would claim are better than this.
There are two elevators that go relatively late and are small in size. Therefore, it takes a lot of waiting and they are decorated with “false marble” and scent spreader that can be found in public toilets. The stairs are actually almost preferable, and if you live on the top floors you actually have no choice.
Overall as mentioned a totally ok hotel, but I would consider other options under the same price category.

+1
This hotel is one of best hotel I ever stayed and I visited 40 countries around the world.
Friendly and welcoming staff, helpful in everything.
My room was spotless and spacious with great views of Bryggen Wharf, I could sit all day and enjoy the views, just out of this world.
Breakfast was great as well, everything was available and Vegan options as well.

The hotel was right in the center of Bergen and there were many beautiful places to walk around. It was especially convenient that the hotel was located inside a shopping center, where shops, supermarkets and pharmacies were easy to find. Room cleaning at the hotel was good. The bed was large and comfortable and there was a kettle in the room. It was very convenient to be able to leave your luggage in the storage room after check-out.
However, there are also some disadvantages. The bathroom was half glass, and after a shower the bathroom floor would flood with water. Also, to get the keys to the room, you had to go to another hotel, which was a 5-minute walk away, or download an application. In my case I had to go to another hotel and then come back.
Another negative was that the mall closed in the evening and to get into the hotel you had to use the back with your hotel card. Unfortunately, we were not warned about this and we spent a lot of time looking for the entrance.
There was also a case when the elevator did not work and we had to walk up. It was quite unpleasant. Another drawback was the small number of sockets in the hotel, which forced us to charge the phone first, and then the power bank.

Hotel from the series I want but I can't….
I stayed with my family by booking a triple room, upon arrival we were told that the room had a sofa bed and that guests usually prefer to sleep on the sofa 😳 so if we wanted to open the bed we had to prepare it ourselves.
Very poor room cleaning service (when they come to tidy them up).
Average international breakfast. The only positive note is the location

I really dont know what happened, but I booked Superior Double room via Agora.com and got a completely different room category (lower obviously). It was supposed to be 20m2 large room with balcony or terrace and mountain view while I got a small attic room with patio view and no balcony or terrace (room number 805). The windows were terribly dirty and there was some rubbish left after the previous guests behind the sofa. Outside the room, the hotel looks nice and has a really great location. Sadly, I left disappointed because I got a completely different thing from what I booked. I didnt go to the reception to clarify this matter because I had very little time in Bergen which I just prefered to enjoy than spend on complaints.

Dear Bukowiecka, Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback! We’re sorry we failed to provide the experience you sought. After we checked your reservation, we can see that you got the room you booked. We are not sure what you mean by (lower obviously), however, we usually upgrade and not downgrade. We strongly advise you to give us a second chance by booking your next stay on our website. Kind regards, Front Office -LAK

The stay was pleasant. The room is modern, almost avant-garde, like being in a spaceship. The lights are few and the room is poorly lit, despite this the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was good, but the accommodation in the following days approximate.
Great breakfast and more than complete.
The hotel is located practically on the harbor, a few steps from the center and the tram stop that leads directly to the airport. Less convenient, but still good location in relation to the train station.
What I liked the least was the reception staff, little available except for the bare minimum and not exhaustive in relation to the requests that were put to him.
Not excellent cleaning of the common areas compared to that of the room.
