We just has a one night stay on our way to Milan as we wanted to visit the Christmas Market at Salzburg. For the price paid as i got one of the cheaper rooms it was good value. Room has been refurbished and was quite comfortable. Just minutes from the Christmas Market and surrounded by restaurants and bars and shopping. Staff wqere friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable to the surrounding area. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel has an old charm to it that you don't get everywhere. It is close to the Christmas market, shopping, restaurants, the bus, the river, basically everything.

Highly recommend this hotel! We stayed 5 nights in a Economy double room and it was very nicely decorated and felt modern, the room was small but for just the two of us and only for sleeping in, it was a good size. The room has a double window which we found useful as it helps to block out the noise from the street below, which is usually quiet but one evening one of the restaurants down the road seemed to get quite loud with people and music, but once both windows were closed we could barely hear it were able to sleep with no problems. There was no air conditioning but there was a tower fan in the room. All staff we encountered spoke very good English and were very polite and helpful, it was always a joy to see the staff when they greeted you on your way out and when you returned. Breakfast was always very good, fresh, constantly topped up and a wide variety of different options to choose from. I always enjoyed the leaflet they leave you on the table, giving you the weather forecast for the day and tips on places to visit and where to eat. Reception closed at 9pm but there was another entrance you can use with your room key to let you in, so getting back late after enjoying the local nightlife if not a problem. The hotel also has a lift. The hotel, situated in the old quarter, is in a great location. The Fortress is right on their doorstep and other main attractions are no more than 15-20 min walk. Train station is a 30 min walk and there are bus stops just down the road or over the bridge if going in the other direction. You can also buy the Salzburg card from reception with cash or card, this was amazing to have and highly recommend this as well. Overall, this hotel is amazing and will definitely come back if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Salzburg!

Had a quad room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Very well designed with many cubbies, cabinets and drawers to help keep our stuff organized and out of the way. Nice large bathroom, cozy breakfast room, perfect location and helpful front desk staff. The weather was hot during our stay and a fan was set up in our room which was greatly appreciated.

The air conditioning was not only loud but also was extremely weak, it was practically non existent so we could not sleep until midnight on multiple nights of our stay. There was no difference with having it on and off. On the day of our checkout we left airpods in our room so we went back within 20 minutes of leaving and realized our room had been cleaned. We checked the whole room three times and asked the members of staff multiple times if they had it or seen it. One even had the audacity to start smiling and looked as if she were about to laugh which in my opinion was very unacceptable for the circumstance. Horrible is all I could use to describe my experience.

The hotel is in a nice central location in old town, with an easy walk from the tram and at the base of the castle. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good. We had an interior room where the windows opened onto a courtyard and could look across to other rooms. The hotel does not have air conditioning and windows did not let in much air. There was a fan provided, but it was noisy so we did not use. Other than that it was nice.

Located in the old town just off Mozart's square, this hotel was perfect for exploring Salzburg. We had a triple room (3 comfortable singles) which was perfect for an adult and 2 teens. Clean, tidy and quiet. Welcoming reception and helpful staff. We didn't try the breakfast but it smelt good. My daughter loved the free sweets in reception!!!

The location is perfect -- just on edge of Old Towne. Room are perfectly fine -- clean, if dormlike (bring conditioner). Stay here for the customer service. Marike Schroeder went above and beyond helping my friend and I with an airport check-in. It wasn't her responsibility to do so and it was the end of her shift. Marike nonetheless helped solve the issue and was both fun and professional while doing so. She represents the hotel exceptionally well. You will feel taken care of in Salzburg at Weisse Taube

Room is small but average sized for a central location in a European city. The room was clean and quiet but not well set-out in relation to furniture and lighting. Staff at the front desk and breakfast were friendly and helpful. Elevator is small so had to go up one person at a time with the luggage when arriving and leaving. One issue we had was cleaning staff coming in to the room even when the Do not disturb sign was on the door - we were there at the time. The staff insisted on coming in even when they saw us sitting on the bed. This just shouldn't happen. The other issue we had was the shower was difficult to use. A shower in the bathtub is fine as long as you can direct the water to stand under to have a decent shower. This one had the shower head on the side wall so you couldn't stand under the water. I would look for another place to stay if coming to Salzburg in the future.
