My wife , Grandaughter (9) and I have just returned home from this wonderful hotel.
We had our travel plans cancelled like everyone else's and chose this place at the last minute due to a Tenerife holiday being cancelled, and we so glad we came here.
Jet 2 made it very straightforward to switch and having gone thru the testing protocols we headed off for Birmingham airport, the airport was very quiet but we were impressed with how the covid restrictions were handled and we felt safe and secure at the airport, after a nice flight to Cyprus , we were once again met with great airport staff in Paphos and with minimum fuss we were on our way to the hotel.

Upon arrival we were very impressed with the lobby area of the hotel and after a swift and seamless check in , we were alllocated our room, number 318.
The room was absolutely lovely, massive comfy beds and a fridge , nice size balcony and aircon that was very good and much needed, the bathroom was fabulous with a lovely walk in shower and really good quality fittings.
The bar staff were all fantastic and couldnt do enough to help and always polite and happy to chat, the drinks were of great quality and we couldnt have asked for better, brilliant.
In the restaurant the Covid protocols were followed religously, santiser on the way in and out and the moment a table was free, it was disinfected, on top of this both the food and the service was excellent, again could not fault a thing, the food was varied and always piping hot, George was in particular always very attentive.
The swimming pools in this hotel are also fabulous, our grandaughter and her new friends had a whale of a time in the excellent water park and this made for a very stress free holiday for us grown ups as the kids played for hours. Pool temperature was also perfect and much needed as the weather was absolutely gorgeous all week.
Cyprus felt very safe all the time we were there and when we were out and about, all in all we had a truly fabulous holiday and would not hesitate to return to this wonderful hotel in the future.
Well done and thank you to all that made our holiday great.

Having just got back from a two week stay at the excellent Mayfair Hotel and Gardens, I wanted to say a huge thanks to Christos and all his staff for making our stay so pleasurable and memorable. I fully recommend this hotel for its excellent customer service and making the 8 of us feel like VIPs. From Christos who upgraded our room when we were unhappy with the first option, to a room which was perfect for us, to the lovely friendly cleaner who changed towels daily and bedding every other day. The children particularly loved the towel animals she created and left on their bed; a fabulous personal touch that was very much appreciated!
The food, we could not fault one iota! It was exceptional and very varied which catered for all tastes. From amazingly tasty traditional Cypriot delicacies to burgers and nuggets for the fussy types. George is a legend! Nothing was too much trouble. From organising a table for 8 every night, booking us a table at a traditional restaurant at the harbour, to bringing in fresh figs from his own tree in his garden for us to taste and bringing complementary bottles of Prosecco out to the bar area for us to enjoy. Above and beyond his role❤️
We especially loved the beautiful greetings and welcoming smiles from all the Mayfair staff. They all work so hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved the Greek dancing and the singers but maybe some more activities for children aged 10+ but I’m just being picky here. I know they had an arcade but 2 Euros for each machine adds up when you have 6 foster children with you.
The only thing that bothered us was that a lot of guests left their towels on the sun beds overnight to ensure they had the same beds the next day. But annoyingly, didn’t come to the pool until sometimes 2or 3pm which meant other guests had non. Maybe the hotel could remove the towels of the ‘selfish sunbed hoggers’ every evening after the pool closes to make it fair.
Once again, huge thanks to all the team at this hotel, you were phenomenal!

We arrived here 7 th March with a very warm welcome from the manager which has never happened before in any of our holidays! I can believe the rubbish that some people write that we’re there in a March ! Honestly !
We had a fan time from start to finish, admittedly we had to come home 3 days early from our holiday due to Covid 19 but that’s was not the hotels fault, in fact they were on the ball supplying hand gel everywhere.
All the staff from George our restaurant manager to hotel reception staff to bar staff, cleaners and of course animation staff could not have done enough for you. Everyone was so friendly a warm and great welcome every day. We were with our friends and we had a lovely pool view ground floor apartment, rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable and our cleaner always left us something to remind her by when she left our towels on our bed🙂
The restaurant was run with excellence and all the staff were efficient, the food was excellent and plentiful with loads of choice for everyone. Cold and hot food was available at the bar morning and afternoon and always plentiful.
George our restaurant manager always gave everyone a warm welcome and we loved having a daily chat with him.
The pool bar staff were friendly and service every where was first class. We have never been on holiday in March before and although slightly cooler we still managed a lovely tan, it was chilly in the evenings but you can expect that in March.
Absolutely no complaints here.
There was a little work going on but no disturbances at all. There just getting ready doing up the kids pool for summer.
Would definitely go back, the four of us had a great time so thank you Mayfair Gardens for making our holiday most enjoyable. The cats were not a problem, they never went near the restaurant and would only go to you if you encouraged them. Thank you Christie Panayiotou , your staff are a credit to you.
Ruth Blackwood from Morayshire Scotland.

Very nice hotel/apartments, staff very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was okay, had something on everyday, entertainment person was very friendly and included all guests. Food not amazing but was always something to eat. All inclusive drinks was great. Some cocktails was included. There is 3 pools to choose from and there is also a little water park on-site for kids. Cleaning of rooms was limited unless you asked for it to be done. Nice walk to sea front. Not far approx 20 min walk to harbour, there is a mall across the road near bus stop. Buses are around every 10 min and free on a Sunday, so quite local really.

All in all. Really nice place to stay and I would recommend this hotel for couples and family

Myself mum & my 3 children visited the Mayfair for 1 week in July .
It was dark on arrival so we just wanted to get rest from the long journey with the children.
So when entering hotel there was 1 man on the desk checking quiet a few family’s in on his own even though there was another member of staff sat next to him he was doing nothing.

The beds are like sleeping on a hard floor they are only cleaned when you put the door sign on the outside handle , the rooms are very bog standard not great the only one good thing about them is the air-con .

The hotel is too busy the outside toilets and convenient rooms are very old and worn .
The staff are all very polite and friendly but it doesn’t make up for it unfortunately.

All the guests reserved the sun beds with towels very early so there was nowhere to lay or sit so if you take a baby get up and go put a towel out otherwise your baby will burn .

Not once did I see the pool being cleaned as it was very murky when I asked reception how often it was cleaned he said daily I was out every day and saw no one cleaning the pool ???
and I stopped going in after a couple of days and didn’t feel comfortable with my baby going in there , after speaking to a few guests there was 30 cases of people having ear infections due to the pool water .

Near the bar smells of very strong sewage very offputting .

There was fights and arguments around the pool side , the restaurant was like feeding time at the zoo ,the food tastes all the same & the drinks are just pure sugar .
This hotel is definitely not a 4star more like a 2star

We just arrived home from this lovely hotel. From the minute we checked in we were greeted with such professionalism.

As it was a very late flight we were given sandwiches and when we turned the key to our door, room 5331 we entered a huge apartment (however we did book a two room apartment). On the table was a note and a bottle of champagne with a bowl of fruit wishing my son a happy birthday. That was such a nice touch and start to the holiday.

The rooms were clean with super comfortable beds and lovely views of both the pools and an additional balcony on the other side that looked out onto the road.

The food was good always so much choice every day but most of all what carries this hotel is the staff. A big massive thank you to George in the restaurant area, when telling him it was our sons birthday he brought out a cake a made a fuss of him, for the duration of our stay everyday he would then go out of his way to ensure we were ok. Thank you to George and staff you are brilliant. Such genuine kindness. Please let George know that Daniel says ‘hello and thank you’

The location is great only a 10-15 min walk to harbour. 5 mins to shopping centre. Bus links all close by. Coral bay was a lovely day trip out.

The entertainment in the evening was a disco and catered for young kids so we never hung around as our children are older so we would explore the area and have a couple of drinks in a bar, the only thing I would say about the entertainment is that it was a shame they never had any live shows but I suppose it was because it was the start of the season.

We have been to a number of all inclusive hotels in Spain but the Mayfair topped it for us. For what we payed we were completely satisfied.

Well done Mayfair gardens you are doing a fantastic job and we hope to return one day to see the lovely George
.
Thank you to Nicko also who was always ensuring everything was running smoothly.

This hotel really cares about their customers and we were delighted we chose a winner.

Thank you.
Fiona, Kieran and family

Me and my friends came here on holiday for 11 nights and we all had a really great time. The staff were all really friendly and our waiter, Rezi helped make every night more fun by making sure we all had drinks and even recommending us drinks to try which were all really nice. The entertainment was very enjoyable and had a range of things like aqua aerobics, pilates, water polo, couples competitions and karaoke. The food was quite good and we liked the snack bars which mostly replaced breakfast for us as the breakfast time was a always a bit too early. The dinners were nice although quite limited for vegetarians. We also liked the fact that they had different themes each night so that it didn’t get boring. The rooms were good for what they were and we didn’t end up spending much time in them anyway. Some of the rooms had better balconies than others and some didn’t have any, however we talked to a few people who weren’t happy with their rooms and when we saw them later we learnt that they had talked to reception and resolved the problem. The only complaint that we had was the wifi. It was quite bad and you only got good reception when sitting in the main area. Since it was our first big holiday away from our families we all wanted to keep in contact with home and the wifi made that very challenging when it wouldn’t work when in the rooms and would cut out when on calls. The housekeeping was very friendly and their flexibility around the time that they would make our rooms was much appreciated. The hotel was in a nice area with a supermarket 5 minutes away to get any snacks in case we didn’t like what was offered at dinner. Overall we all had an amazing holiday and that was definitely mostly due to how great the staff were! :)

If your looking up reviews to compare to other hotels in the similar price bracket, stop right now and book the Mayfair. I can honestly say that after living and working for many years in the others and they don’t compare to how wonderful this hotel is. An absolute credit to the hard working staff in all areas who we’re always hard working, and naturally warm and friendly (I can personally garuntee you will not get any of that in the ascos)

The pools are immaculate as are the grounds and the whole hotel. A couple of mornings we were up early and housekeeping were hard at work cleaning the sun beds and pool area.

We saw the maid daily and had lovely fresh towels each day. The rooms are modern with everything you need including hairdryer, fridge and kettle.

The kids club is lovely and relaxed and we enjoyed nipping in for some shade and colouring with Naomi who was a lovely, warm and accommodating entertainer. I really appreciate how she took the time to make my little one feel special and remember her name.

Having spent a lot of my life working in Cypriot all inclusives I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the food BUT it was delicious and there was a fantastic choice for all 3 meals. Drinks service at dinner was quick and the restaurant was clean with lovely staff. The snacks to have by the pool were excellent and we will miss cookies and melon.

Locally you have everything to explore paphos on your doorstep, alphamega supermarket (think Tesco) is practically next door, and if your there with children Jumbos in the mall (a 5 min walk) has ample inflatables and toys on par with b n m prices. (And sippy cups if like me you forgot one for the toddler)

A short walk up land of the kings where the mall is brings you to light house beach where you can hire beds and umbrellas cheap, and the food there is so good. Definitely try the chicken kebab! You can jump on a bus from land if the kings up to coral bay (lighthouse beach is much nicer and cleaner than coral beach) or to the harbor if the walks a bit much.

This hotel and the wonderful package it offers is an absolute bargain. Book it! I could tell you pros and cons off the other all inclusives in this price range, but non can beat the pools, food and staff friendliness, safety and cleanliness of this hotel offers.

Me and my daughter have had the best first holiday together here, amongst some lovely people with beautiful memories made. Thank You Mayfair and our holiday best friends that made this holiday perfect.

Have just recently spent the week at Mayfair Gardens with my partner. Would rate this hotel 3 star wouldn't say its a 4 star. Stayed b&b and the food was good also paid 9€ each some lunch times and food on offer again above standard for all inclusive hotels. On the first night we were given a room facing onto locals apartments where the air conditioning was not working. Got offered other rooms in the same building however air conditioning still a problem. Slept in what felt like an oven that night. Had requested a pool room view with better air condition and was granted the next day at a charge of 9€ per night. The air conditioning in this building was night and day compared to the 1st night. Pool good and most staff friendly especially the lady serving at the bar. Our room key panel on door broke and was given a manual key this was done quickly however was not fixed for the duration but this wasnt a problem. Only problem was the room was unable to be cleaned some days as unable to gain access. Managed to keep room on for 30€ as we had a late flight think after the problems we had with room on first night and door this could have been given as good will gesture especially as hotel was quiet.

We have just come back from a weeks all inclusive family holiday at Mayfair hotel and gardens, I was unsure of what to expect from the reviews but I can honestly say as my 3 year olds first ever holiday abroad this hotel was perfect an exceeded our
expectations ! Every member of staff was fantastic, from the house keepers who alway made our son feel special and spoke to him every day to the restaurant staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Our son loved the mini disco and the animation team always stopped to say hello when advising us on the
next daily activity (which my 3yr old loved!) mini disco was on 6 out of our 7 nights which all the children loved to get involved with and got to know each other, making new friends!
The Reception staff were so helpful in answering any questions about the city and local hotspots and telling us how to get there!
This hotel has a real family feel to it, all staff members saying hello, how’s your day etc.
The food in the hotel was lovely, our favourite night by far was the Cypriot night, plenty of ice cream throughout the day for little ones and always a safe choice of foods for fussy eaters!
The splash pool is just amazing, and although there was always children playing in there it never seemed rammed, so no queuing for slides! All the pools and areas are spotless, we saw the lovely cleaning staff cleaning every morning all around the hotel and if there was ever a problem with the sun umbrellas by the pools the lifeguards sorted it out quickly for us!
We had a room on the other side of the hotel in Mayfair gardens, it was spacious and clean, we had a fridge and tea making facilities in our room which was really handy as local super market was a 3 min walk so we could get fresh milk etc for the room! We recommend lighthouse beach which is a 10 mins walk from the hotel, the Paphos sightseeing hop on bus and visiting the harbour at night!
Lots of lovely family memories made, thank you Mayfair for such a lovely holiday!
