Stayed here last week and have to say it's good value for money. If you are looking for 5* then this is not the hotel for you, but then again it's reflected in the price you pay. Staff are all very friendly. Apartments were 'tired' looking but had comfy beds, clean sheets, clean towels and enough for what we wanted/needed for our short break. As in the evenings the temperature did drop the heating automatically kicked in so apartments were kept warm enough and blankets provided for the beds if needed. A few reviews talk about the noise from the bar over the road - this time of year it seems to have live music Wed's-Sunday so we only had one night of it during our stay (& to be honest on that night I was over the bar enjoying the live band) but it was loud and I imagine in the summer months would probably go on later and every night so would suggest not ideal if wanting an early night with some peace and quiet as it would undoubtedly be loud. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast served was perfectly adequate for starting you up for the day. They offer lunch and evening meals but having glanced in I wouldn't personally bother and go the 100 yrds into the seafront. Huge supermarket 50 yrds away too, if like us you want tea, milk etc for the room but on the basis of the items on our kitchen would imagine you would struggle to cater more than that. Most of the kitchen cupboards were empty but this suited us as we went to eat out not self cater. On a final note - this hotel is superbly located a stones throw from the seafront, lovely restaurants and a very short walk from the bus station so for those not wanting to spend time lounging around the hotel it's ideal and remember what you have paid!

We booked this hotel for one night because we were arriving by air quite late at night and wanted to be near where the airport bus stopped at the main bus station at the harbour. The location is perfect as its only a 5 minute walk from the harbour bus station. The hotel itself has seen better days. We had a spacious two bedroom apartment and the price was very reasonable but the apartment was in dire need of a reno. The kitchen and appliances were abysmal-barely usable. The bed was ok, fairly comfortable.
I have to say that for convenience and price this hotel is acceptable, but it would have been depressing to spend the whole week here.

We were only after a cheap room in a good location for the night so in that respect the hotel ticked the box but it really offered no more than location. The room was horrendously dated with most of the appliances broken or mediocre. The room at least seemed clean. Most of the lights round the outside of the hotel weren’t working so we had to navigate to the main road in the dark, past what smelt like drains. The pool is tiny and right next to the main road and the breakfast was very limited and to a poor standard.

This is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I've stayed in other 3 star hotels before so thought this one would be ok. In my opinion this should only be a 1 star hotel, the only good thing about it was the location. From the outside it looks very tired and rundown and so does the inside. The rooms were very basic and stunk like an old people's home. I felt unclean just being in there. There were 2 plug sockets in the whole room, one in living area for the tv which didn't have a single English channel, and one in the kitchen area for the kettle. The shower sprayed everywhere and completely flooded out to the beds which is why all the flooring was lifted and separated. The beds were awful and felt like laying on bare springs, I barely slept the whole time we were there. I didn't dare eat from there. There are feral cats everywhere and you can hear them howling at all hours of the night. Also the walls are very thin so you can hear people in the adjacent rooms.
When it was finally time for us to leave, we had a really early flight so we booked a taxi from the taxi place opposite the hotel, Advic Taxi, the guy was to collect us from the front of the hotel at 3.30am. We go to reception to check out and the guy there was asleep on the chairs, so we wake him and check out then go out front to wait for our taxi. We wait and he doesn't show up, so we try and call both the phone numbers on the card that he gave us but we couldn't get through. Its getting later and we really need to get to the airport at this point so I go back into the reception area and tell the guy that our taxi hasn't turned up and I asked him if he would call one for us to which he said no and told me to wait on the street and one would eventually come along! Its 3.30am and like a ghost town outside! I tried to explain that if we didn't get a taxi very soon we may miss our flight but he just ushered me back outside. At this point I'm furious, I've literally had no sleep all weekend and I'm ready to get the hell out of there so my friend goes in to ask him to call us a cab, which he did. Well I wouldn't exactly call it a taxi, it was some guy who looked drunk in a mini van that looked like and sounded like the wheels would drop off at any minute but I was passed caring at that point and just wanted to get out of there.
I would avoid this place and I definitely would never stay there again.

first point to mention: the internet does not work for guests almost never but for some reason staff are on their mobiles all day long!
next: the place and the rooms are extremely old and were obviously never renovated. the kitchen has very mininum utensils, a broken wine opener, broken toaster and a barely working mini oven but no oven pan. utensils are dirty and you have no sponge or soap to wash up properly. 3 plugs for the whole 1br flat and are so old and look like a hazard. kitchen sink is blocked and water needs time to drain plus it smells bad. half of the light bulbs are burned.
toilet flash works whenever it wants. shower head runs everywhere and is difficult to control the water but at least there is hot water.
also the matress is good.

however the first morning i woke up by staff gathered outside the hotels kitchen under the balcony at 7am.
the pool is dirty with leaves and other debris going to the bottom.

breakfast is a collection of oily english breakfast dishes - even the mushrooms and scrabled eggs seem to have been soaked in oil for some time before served. there are boiled eggs, beans, bacon, and processed cold cuts plus a variety of cheese and local anari. overall there is quantity but no quality. coffee is from a cheap powdered coffee machine. butter and jam taste aweful. whats more there were lipstick marks on one of the "washed" mugs. no basic hygiene rules followed. let alone covid regulations!! sign all over the restaurant saying no self service and the waiter will attend. there is actually no waiter.just a boy at the bar bringing the oily goods from the kitchen to the table and that's it. then you are on your own.

staff were passive executing their duties with the minimum effort. one boy attending the bar and breakfast service did far less than the mininum effort (!).
the apts are in walking distance to the harbor, a supermarket, a beach, the mall and many coffee places and restaurants.

was quite cheap for four nights but i wouldnt NEVER go back NEVER EVER.

we as a group booked this hotel due to its location, having booked 3 apartments we (11 persons) were told there was nothing available (even though we had paid up front) and we would be moved to another hotel 10km away! After an argument we were given 4 "rooms" under duress.
When we got in the room i stared in disbelief at the state of them, damp up the walls, worktops worn and peeling, table chipped and filthy and worst of all electrical point held together with masking tape.
we tried to turn on air con but it did not work (38 deg C that day) informed reception and were given 2 crap fans but only had 1 socket in bedroom! i slept on couch in sitting room so i could plug in fan,Rooms were so hot one of our group slept on the balcony as none of the 4 rooms air con worked!
we were on top floorand on every floor there was a broken fridge/air dryer and laundry on the floor (not a welcoming sight)
We went to the bar and the only beer available is keo no other choice!
This hotel is a total disaster zone and i will never return, i expect nicosia prison has better rooms.
Avoid like the plague!!

Just returned for a 9 night stay at the Daphne, 31st January to February 9th.. some days and nights were cold as expected but the hotel had no heating so you had to eat the evening meals wearing a coat which is very disrespectful. Also when it was cloudy there was no hot water which meant you could not have a shower. The food was basic but alright, the main problem was the food was cold. The stairs light would not work when wanted marking it very dangerous. The staff were very good and helpful. The only attraction was the location of the hotel, 50 yards from the seafront. The stair lights would not work when required which made it quite dangerous. Music in the bar was hip hop, quite loud and horrible. Overall not worth the money, look elsewhere

We were supposed to stay here for two nights. We arrived at the apartments to find it very old, run down and poorly maintained 'The well tended gardens ', were quite the opposite. We went to our room and the 'well equipped kitchen' was discusting, the hob completely unusable! The bed that my child was supposed to sleep on was rusted and looked ready to collapse. The ancient air conditioning did not work and the pool and area around it was awful. We were told we would have a room near the pool but we were put out on the road on the top floor. The price they were charging was extortionate for the facilities, or lack there of, they were offering. We decided not to ruin our holiday by staying there and left. Thankfully we found a gorgeous place, with lovely facilities to stay, 6 minutes away, for less money. I certainly would not recommend the Daphine Appartments to anyone!

Stayed at the Daphne for 2 nights .

Location 10/10

Beds where very comfy, seemed to have been mattresses with toppers. Bathroom / Showers were clean and great pressure for shower ( if anything maybe too powerful!)

Yes the accommodation is stuck in a 1980s time capsule. But it was ok for a cheap couple of nights. To sleep and shower.

We didn’t spend time using the pool, to be honest it wasn’t inviting and very old.

If you are wanting a cheap place to rest your head then it will do. By no means would I book this for a family holiday .

We have stayed in cheap accommodation before as its just a base to sleep, but this place was the worst we've ever stayed in! As soon as we walked in the room I knew we couldn't stay, it was more like a squat than a holiday apartment. It was dark, dingy, the kitchen area was disgusting, rusty, dirty and the cupboards wouldn't even open. Before even opening a case we were back in reception asking to be moved to a nicer room....the response was "we have worse rooms!". In the morning we were moved to a better room, but we had no hot water all week, cold showers and no heating, our friends in another room had to buy a heater from the supermarket! The pool area has umbrellas full of holes and it just all looks tacky and run down. The only positives were the location and the beds were actually comfortable.

the cost of the inland view room is different to the cost of the pool view room, therefore the room that was booked will be provided. the pool view room request can only be honoured only if there is plenty of availability, as a free upgrade.
