We stayed at the pagona for 10
Nights in June. This was a jet 2 package however we asked before arriving for an upgraded room via the hotel Facebook and this was accommodated at no extra cost. In fact we couldn’t of had a better room right on the ground floor over looking the pool.

The staff were lovely all very hard workers and very polite. The young girls who were helping out at the bar and pool area were also amazing, hard working and very polite. I asked if there was anywhere I could rent a pushchair as my little girl is 5 and was struggling on an evening. The hotel had their own that I rented for 20 euros for the 10 nights. Best 20 euros I spent !

Rooms were lovely spacious and comfortable however aircon was not included which worked out quite expensive at 6 euros per night and that’s just to have this on in the bedroom. I would say though this cost should be covered in the package holiday because if you book a room direct then the aircon is included.

Location is great with being able to come out and turn right or left finding multiple bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The beach was about a 15 minute walk away.

The rooms were straightened up everyday however I would personally say that it would be nicer to have clean towels every 2 days rather than every 4. Check out was 12pm and you can request to keep your room on however there are 2 clean showers and toilet cubicles which are more than suitable to freshen up before your pick up.

We have had a lovely stay at the pagona apartments and would definitely return. Thank you 😊

This is a great place for a holiday. We had a newly refurbished room -C9- which was clean, comfortable and had all the essentials we needed. We stayed self catering but you can eat breakfast at the hotel for €7 and the pool bar serves reasonably priced snacks all day if you wanted to eat at the hotel. We enjoy having the option of trying different places to eat out which we did most days, but when we ate at the hotel the food was good.

The pool area is beautiful. Plenty of sun loungers, parasols, showers, children's pool and a whirlpool. Only food and drinks from the pool bar are allowed but the pool bar prices are fair, so not an issue.

Some people have mentioned in reviews about room servicing. We can only compliment the cleaners our bin was emptied every day, toilet paper replenished daily, the towels and bedding were done every three/four days which we were happy with. The room was always clean as were all shared areas, stairways and bathrooms elsewhere in the hotel.

Cannot compliment Briana enough, she worked in the pool bar every day. Always smiling and helpful. Looked after everyone's needs by the pool as well as in the bar. A real asset to the hotel.

Was a really good relaxed holiday the staff amazing and the apartments were immaculately clean just needed painting and modernising plenty to do around 10 minutes from the harbour lots of eating houses and bars all very reasonably priced transfer from the airport about 30 to 40 minute. We flew with jet 2 but never saw a rep but to be fair didn't need to. The bar on a Friday do a amazing bbq only 18 euro each but we'll worth the money loads of fresh cooked meats Greek potatoes and salad and a dessert to follow its all you can eat 😋 . Reasonable prices for the bar food and very generous portions. Overall a really good relaxed holiday with lots of the holiday makers being there many times before and weeks at a time so shows how good it is .

Room Tip: Take a hair dryer. All the plugs are 3 point plugs. The local taxis 10 euro everywhere.

We stayed here for 10 nights at the beginning of June. We stayed in a refurbished apartment which was immaculate and very well designed.
English plug sockets so no need for adapters either
Air con was extra and very expensive.
There were no hairdryers you could borrow one for a short while or hire one at a euro a day.
You can drink the water straight from the tap.
The swimming pool was fabulous. It was a lovely temperature.
There was plenty of sun beds but they were really low and uncomfortable. The material had stretched and the metal from the frame would stick in you on some of them. Definitely need to buy some new ones.
The bar and food was nice. Ayera was 13 and the daughter of one of 2 brothers who ran the bar and she ran the bar like a pro. Which I thought was a bit of a shame really especially as she was showing her younger sister how to do it and there wasn’t an older member of staff in sight. She was there most days and ran the bar herself one night.
Andreas who ran the bar on a night was obviously unhappy and enjoyed winding customers up. His brother who worked during the day was extremely pleasant as were all the other staff.
Pathos bars, shops and beach were a 10 minute walk away.
We would definitely revisit but not before they buy new beds.

Recently returned from A weeks break , our apartment was spacious & clean. All staff was very welcoming we travelled as a family of 4. ( Children aged 6&11) We ate out most days but this was always going to be our plan we wanted a chilled week away and that's exactly what we got. Breakfast off the menu was lovely as was the lunch which we had. Being a small family run business the pool was never manic and all guests were respectful to one another, we never put towels down but always managed to get a bed close enough to the pool so we could keep an eye on the children. Air con is not included in the price ( which is stated on booking ) but I would definitely recommend it as it does get VERY hot.
For the record accomodation does look like all photos previously seen on holiday booking sites. We was in room C10 and this was one of the newly refurbished. Thank you for making our much needed family holiday a pleasant one, From The Neil Family.

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week stay at Pagona and are already looking at booking for next year! This is such a beautiful and chilled complex to stay at. The family make you feel so welcome and the facilities are all close at hand. The pool is like walking into a warm bath and I defy anyone to stay here and not play at throwing a ball through the holes in the bridge! The girls will regularly walk around the pool taking drink orders and will happily deliver them to you.

The food is the restaurant is really nice and plentiful. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service excellent!

We stayed in a 1 bed superior apartment and had no issues with it. We were aware that we had to pay for air conditioning which was an added extra but it is free with some agents. The fact that there wasn’t a tv in the room wasn’t an issue. There is free wifi in the communal areas which reaches some balconies.

The complex is within walking distance of bars, restaurants and the supermarket. There are various ways to these areas so go and explore. The main shopping centre and next resort is about a 20-25 min walk away.

We always found a bed around the pool although the ones closest to the pool go early there are others available on the grass. Stavros (the owner) keeps the garden areas clean and tidy and will potter about throughout the day.

This is an ideal location for families and couples looking to chill out but still be close enough to the nightlife if you want. Evenings in the bar/restaurant are very relaxed with music playing until about 2ish.

You can loan hair dryers and irons from reception and there is also a library there to exchange books. Reception will happily book excursions for you and they are all helpful.

We really couldn’t fault Pagona and will definitely be visiting again!

Thank you to Stavros (& wife) Andreas, Agnes, Neo and all the team who were so welcoming and made our stay memorable!!

We had 3 rooms between us, a one bed apartment and 2 studios. All rooms were typical of greece/cyprus, basic, but exceptionally clean, with a fantastic maid service, comfortable beds and air conditioning at just 6 euros a night (highly recommended in July). We managed to keep our room for a late checkout out, for 5 euros an hour, which was brilliant.
The pool is beautiful, shallow and very warm, the surrounding areas are very pretty and the toilets and showers also very clean. The pool can get busy at times, but there are always beds available, the bar food and drink are good quality and fantastic value, my parents stayed 5 years ago and said the prices had not risen.
Andreas, his family and all the staff are so friendly and helpful, I would definatley stay again and would highly recommend this to families, especially with young children as it is quiet and the pool is good for young swimmers.

First off, I have no serious complaints at all, gripes maybe, but more for information rather than complaint, because I don't really think there was anything bad at all.
Wifey likes TV... there was no TV.. right, that's it out of the way.
This is a lovely family ran establishment, and the staff are great. Our room was over the road from the pool and bar area, but that was no hassle at all. It gave you some peace.
We took in the buffet breakfast each morning as it was both reasonable and filling with a decent choice, freshly cooked eggs in a manner of your choice.
Pool is a walk-in pool, not very deep, I wouldn't jump or dive in if you're over 10. There is a jacuzzi, too. A lovely young lady came around every so often taking order. As I say, all staff were delightful. We had a studio room, it was fine, shower had some power, but couldn't use it to its fullest that's a gripe. Sunbeds are free and plentiful.
Aircon was about €7
Keep room on €6 an hour
It's about a 10-15 minute walk to harbour. Don't get a taxi unless you remortgage your home.
Would I go back? Yes, I'd be happy to.

We arrived quite late but the receptionist was there and took us to our rooms. She showed us the pool bar which was still open so we had a pizza and a drink . The room was a one bed appt which was ok clean and tidy plenty of towels on the bed. We paid for aircon which was 7 euro per day what we didnt realise was that you have to pay for each unit if you have more than one. We decided to keep the one in the bedroom which was sufficient in cooling the lounge area as well . The pool is a walk in pool with a children's pool and a jacuzzi some days the pool was warmer than others but still pleasant. All drinks must be purchased from the pool bar you cannot bring your own but prices were reasonable so I didnt mind Try the lemonade cordial very refreshing . We ate most of our meals at the pool bar great selection of food including Greek meals so something for everybodies tastes , the staff at the pool bar are fantastic nice and friendly and keen to welcome you . The main strip is about a 10 min walk with bars and restaurants aplenty there's also a car hire place just down the road from the apartments if you feel like hiring . Our only disappointment was the receptionist when we were checking out check out is 12 noon and I appreciate that but being disabled it takes me a little long to finish up she stormed into my room asking why I hadn't handed in the key I tried to explain I was nearly done but she wasn't interested she then barged into my families rooms with thr same attitude, we'd arranged to keep on a room for showers but she barged in there without knocking or waiting to be invited in shouting about 7 of us being in there there were 4 of us the rest were at the pool bar she then decided to decline the room saying we couldn't have it reducing me to tears my husband then asked to see the manager he came back saying it had been resolved but it really put a damper on our last day . Apart from her we enjoyed our stay and would return sometime in the future

Four of us (2 couples) stayed at the Pagona Hotel in 2 x Superior 1 bedroom apartments.

We arrived after midnight and the bar remained open so we could have drinks & freshly cooked pizza.

The apartments were very spacious, modern, clean and had all the facilities needed. The walk in shower was lovely, the blackout curtains were welcomed and the double glazing blocked out any noise. Air Con was available at 7 euoros a day - we paid for it in the bedroom as it did also cool the rest of the apartment. The other couple didn't need it so it's all down to personal preference.

The hosts were very friendly, the drinks & meals available at the poolside bar were all wonderful and very reasonably priced.

It is more suited to couples rather than families - apart from a pool there are no other facilities which was perfect for us. We couldn't fault it at all and would certainly return.

Just to add, the location was ideal and less than 10 minute walk to the main bars & restaurants. We ate out every evening and no matter where we chose, the food was spectacular.
