From arrival at the Anemi suites, we were made to feel very welcome by the front desk staff and it was immediately obvious that the hotel were taking all the necessary precautions to prevent Covid 19. There were sanitisers throughout the hotel at all the main points and we felt very safe and secure indeed. We booked an Executive Suite on 4th floor and were very pleased with our choice with our room overlooking the pool. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. It was very modern and had excellent air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely large fridge and crockery and cutlery available.
The breakfast each day was very fresh, tasty and plentiful and coffee machine made an excellent cup of coffee. Large choice of continental food, and also great choice of hot food available. Again there was sanitiser and disposable gloves that all guests had to wear before entering the breakfast area.
We also attended the Sunday Brunch, served between 11am and 3pm on two occasions and there was an amazing choice of food available to try. We certainly did not need an evening meal after it and it was a great opportunity to sample various Cypriot delights.
The hotel was quieter than it would normally be due to the circumstances but that had its advantages as there was plenty of sunbeds available around the very large swimming pool. It really was the hotel to go to, to unwind and recharge the batteries and what made it extra special was the individual attention that all the staff gave to all the guests. Every member of the staff that we came into contact with were a credit to the hotel, and I did want to mention a few by name, but unfortunately I have lost the piece of paper with the names I wrote, but one in particular was the Operations manager, I know his name began with P. He was a treasure and never went by us with out some conversation, and on the morning of my birthday he arrived at our breakfast table with 2 glasses of bucks fizz, obviously having noted a conversation we had, had about my usual birthday ritual. And if that was not enough, there was a bottle of prosecco in our room when we returned after our day out. All the reception staff were lovely, but George and I think her name was Alina or similar stood out for never letting you go by without a wee chat. Thankyou for an amazing holiday... we will definitely be back and will book direct next time. xx

We visited as a group of three to the hotel and stayed in a superior suite. The room was spacious and was always cleaned well.

The staff were always super helpful and friendly, especially George on reception and the night porter who let us in in the early hours of the morning!

The pool was lovely and clean and not overly busy, with a good range of drinks and food. Breakfast was good with lots of options and the food was always fresh. The beach was only an 8 minute walk away, and the supermarket was 5, and bus station about 15 minutes.

They were very good regarding Covid, which was very reassuring. They checked our test results when checking in and all of our bags were fogged upon arrival. There were hand sanitizers around the hotel and right by the reception and gloves had to be worn at the breakfast buffet.

They have a great team of staff here who will all go above and beyond, from the cleaners who give you the extra time in the morning, to the waiters serving you cocktails by the pool! I couldn’t fault them.

Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at around 11pm on 11th July and were greeted by a very friendly & helpful gentleman on the reception desk, he gave us directions to our apartment and information about the hotel/ parking etc.

We were allocated room G11, a nice spacious apartment on the ground floor, overlooking the pool, patio doors leading out to the table/ chairs outside. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well maintained and the air conditioning worked excellently. The bathroom was clean and had a decent shower with plenty of adjustment for the temperature.

The apartment was cleaned daily, the towels were changed daily and the bed linen was changed a couple of times during our 1 week stay. The rest of the hotel was immaculately kept from the inside to the outside and has a lovely peaceful pool area. The housekeeping & maintenance team do an excellent job and work very hard to keep the hotel at it's best.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Paphos, around 10 minutes walk to the harbour and there is a waterfront pathway directly behind the Almyra hotel. The Bar Street area is a bit scruffy but I understand some of the empty properties have been sold and will be renovated at some point. The hotel has a private car park at the rear, you dial the phone number for the gate to open automatically. I could always find a parking space.

Unfortunately a few days of our stay were disturbed by a large group staying in room G04- shouting, slamming doors, moving outdoor furniture and making a complete mess around the pool area. Our sleep was disturbed for 3 nights with slamming doors, shouting & BYOB gathering outside the room. I won't let this put me off as it was an otherwise peaceful hotel.

There are a couple of bits that could do with some attention and are very easy to fix- some of the kitchen utensils in the apartment were broken or missing and the toaster didn't work.

Overall an excellent stay at the Anemi and I will certainly be returning again.

We stayed for one night and it was ok, I guess... There where quite a few reasons I cannot give the place a good review:
1. In order to use the parking you need a phone number you can only get when checking in. So you need to park in the street where it is illegal to park (according to the receptionist) go in check in and then go out and take your car to the hotel parking.
2. When we got into the room there were hairs in the sink and shower, we asked them to clean it again and it was solved.
3. The double bed was two single beds pushed together which is not very comfortable, I guess they either they don't have double beds, they don't have enough rooms with double beds (but we were there in December and the place was far from fully occupied so it means they have a very small number of double beds), or they just didn't bother to set people in the best room they can.
4. We asked the receptionist for help finding a bank, a good restaurant and a supermarket. She helped us with the super market but for the rest just said there are plenty of ATMs around and showed us on the map a street with many restaurants (didn't give any recommendations though we asked for some) almost all the restaurants on that street were closed (because it is not the season and maybe because it was New year's Eve but that is why we asked for help finding a place).
5. Breakfast usually starts at 7 am but because of the New year's Eve it started only at 8am which is not a problem but at check in they told us 7am (we stayed there only one night so this was the only breakfast we had there they could have told us the right hour), so we got there discovered it starts only an hour later went back to our room and waited for an hour... At 8am when we got there most of the food was out (it seemed like there was one station that didn't have anything on but maybe this was for a reason) but the utensils to take the food weren't there and we needed to ask for them, they said they didn't have them ready because of the party the night before, again it is not a problem that they had a party and then breakfast ran late but when you start an hour later then normal at least have everything ready.
6. In order to get from our room to the reception you had to go through the pool and restaurant so when checking out for example we had to take our staff go to the pool through the restaurant then check out go back through the restaurant and the pool pass near the room and continue to the parking space this makes no sense.
7. It seems there are many small staff they didn't think of one example is the hooks in the bathroom there are only two hooks so for a couple if both towels are on the hooks you can't hang your clothes but this doesn't really matter because the hooks are located on the only wall in the room that can get wet when you shower so actually you can't use the hooks at all...

We decided to visit Paphos after the latest covid directions and booked Hotel Anemi through Jet 2. On arrival Andreea help us to register remotely whilst going the the covid protocols and then we were shown to our room (119). Whilst it didn't have the greatest view overlooking a disused car park the actual room was excellent, spacious with a sofa, plenty of storage and a very high spec bathroom. with the towels being replaced on at least every other day and sometimes the following day

The pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds which meant there was always availability and the pool was clean, large and very refreshing. with a uniform depth which means that people who aren't the greatest swimmers can enter at any point.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, the breakfast being plentiful with plenty of choice with cereal, fruit, meats, cheese and bacon, eggs etc. The area was clean and covid protocols meaning that masks and plastic gloves that were provided to be used.

We also had lunch around the pool on a number of occasions with, sandwiches, and gyros at reasonable prices.

The main thing that stood out on this visit was the friendliness of the staff be it the receptionists, kitchen staff, waitresses or Elena the young lady who provided drinks etc around the pool. They were all a credit to the hotel.

This was our first trip out of the country post covid and everything was done to make it a pleasurable experience even down to printing off the passenger locator forms for our return to the UK.

Would I stay here again ? absolutely it was an excellent experience

If you're looking for a seafront hotel don't read this review.
This brand new hotel is clean well centered with parking and wonderful decor. It was a winter stay so we didn't mind the location but even so during the summer 5min walk to the beach is good enough.
The room decor is modern and we had a small kitchenette.
The bed, shower, and small balcony all are extremely pleasant. Good value for money.
One small thing to think about- the coffee machine in the breakfast area provides a horrible coffee and a good Greek coffee cost 2€ and that's a shame.

Mrs L treated me to a lovely stay here in Cyprus over the Christmas break. This hotel is well situated amongst restaurants and close to the harbour (5 min walk) it’s directly across the road from the beach/ sea but we didn’t have any type of sea view. The streets around do look a little drab and run down but we certainly didn’t feel unsafe at all during our stay. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful during our stay and allowed us to keep our room until 1:30pm due to our late flight at no additional charge. We opted for a self catering apartment, which was very good and had everything you needed. There is a nice lounge / kitchenette area which pots / kettle / plates etc if you needed them. A large bathroom with rain shower complete with robes and slippers. Bedroom sufficiently large enough with TV (one in lounge also) WIFI comes FOC as was good to allow watching Netflix etc and it was spotlessly clean. The restaurant was good and albeit with didn’t eat breakfast we had a couple of meals and room service all were good and reasonably priced. Staff very good in all areas and couldn’t have done more for us. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend here if you want to try self catering which we feel gives us a little more flexibility than a usual room basis.

We moved here just over half way through our holiday as we asked to move from the hotel that Jet2 had reassigned us to when our chosen hotel had closed due to covid. From the moment we entered the hotel we knew it was miles ahead of our previous hotel. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, very safe and covid aware and they sanitized our luggage with a fogging machine. The pool was cleaned and tested daily. The apartments were clean and well decorated. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all great and the food was very nice. All staff were polite, friendly and welcoming. It was a very quiet and welcoming place, sadly quite empty, each day we mostly had the pool to ourselves but if we do ever return to Paphos we will certainly consider a return to this lovely boutique hotel.

Recently updated the room was in good order. Beds comfortable and staff were helpful
Room cleanliness could have been improved but still not bad, with towels changed as requested.
The general areas were well maintained and pool area cleaned daily even though it was rarely used as it was cold.

“The Anemi Hotel & Suites is a wonderful, recently revamped and cosy boutique hotel, located in the centre of Paphos. We visited Anemi in December 2019 and we were very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel including the spacious and modern rooms, the facilities and service. The staff was very polite and helpful, making our stay very pleasant and comfortable. In addition, the location was very convenient for getting around Paphos and in close proximity to the beach and numerous restaurants and shops. During our stay, the Hotel had the opening of their “Kipos” roof terrace, which is an idyllic “must visit” venue with beautiful views of the Mediterranean sea, the Medieval Castle and Paphos city. We would definitely recommend this hotel for couples, families, business trips and for anyone who would like to enjoy a relaxing stay in a “home away from home” Hotel.”
