This is not a luxury hotel and it isn't trying to be. Paphos is fully of things to do so you should be using it to sleep at night before heading out for the following days adventure. It is basic and the rooms are small but they are clean and fully air conditioned. The only negative is that the bathrooms are very small and sadly I am not. Though it wasn't comfortable showering it wasn't impossible either, just a little bit snug for my liking.

The staff here are excellent every request we have made has been acted upon swiftly and with enthusiasm to cater to your needs.

Breakfast is basic but very good. On offer are fruit juices, tea and coffee, cereals and yoghurt, a small amount of pastries, fruit preserves, toast, ham cheese and salami. You have the option to sit indoors or outside on the patio in the beautiful sunshine.

The location is the standout feature of this hotel. It is right in the middle of everything. Bars and restaurants are everywhere the second you walk out of the door. The harbour is a couple of minutes away and is 10 minutes walk to the bus terminal. The bus service here is excellent but keep plenty of change to pay for the ride. Example 1.50 euros will take you on a 35 minute bus ride on the number (615) to Coral Bay, with excellent scenery along the route. The same bus will take you to the ring of the Kings too. Tip! sit on the left side of the bus for great views of the med. A taxi will cost you 17 euros for the same trip and will not be as enjoyable either.

If you want somewhere to rest at night and start the day with breakfast, this is perfect. If you want a luxury holiday resort with all inclusive and spa etc. This is not for you.

I am staying at this nice small hotel which is very close to the harbour.
There is 24 hour reception, and free WiFi and free breakfast..simple continental one.
I booked through Expedia and asked for a mini fridge in the room. When I checked in I was happy to find that my request was honoured.
The receptionist Anika was very helpful in booking a taxi for us to leave 3:30 in the morning and was will to provide us with a takeaway breakfast.

Expedia customer service sent an email for feedback about the check in process.
One of the comments I wrote was that I wished there was a coffee maker in the room …and that the bathroom door handheld was loose.
The second day after a morning stroll I came back and found a water kettle in the room with coffee sachets….I also saw the manager himself coming to check the problem with the bathroom door handle . It seemed he received the feedback from Expedia and directly acted upon it . I was immensely impressed …thus is the way for small establishments to succeed…by responding, respecting and catering to customers needs.

If you are looking for a simple, cozy hotel, in a central location, that gives you great value for cost - this is the hotel for you. The room we were in was newly renovated, very clean, with air-conditioning, more than enough electricity outlets and was a perfect fit for our needs. The staff were kind and helpful. You should note that the rooms are small and simple, so if you are looking for a place to rest during the day and sleep during the night, this is just what you need, and all this for a very modest price
If you are looking for a 5* deluxe hotel experience, with the accompanying facilities, and are willing to pay much more - this isn't the hotel for you.

The Pyramos hotel is a fantastic place to stay. Situated at the end of Bar Street you can go clubbing or have a great meal at one of the many bars, clubs and restaurants on the street. Your 2 minutes walk from the port and all the restaurants situated along the dockside. The staff are friendly and very professional, as it is a small hotel with only 21 rooms the staff take the time to talk to you and get to know you unlike the larger hotels. If you are considering a trip to paphos I'd say do it and a stay at the Pyramos is a very good choice.

Absolute gem this Hotel, spotlessly clean throughout, Staff are wonderful, cannot do enough for you and in a superb position right in the centre of the tourist area, 2 minutes from the sea, lots of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, most of whom have entertainment of one sort or another.
Continental breakfast is very nice and plentiful and the drinks at the bar are very cheap fo a hotel.
Special mention for the 2 girls, one is Anna who works the evenings and the dark haired lady who works the day, they are both super friendly and helpful with absolutely anything you ask for.
Will definitely use you again when I return and want a great hotel with a great location.
Also note, for a hotel with such a central location, it is amazing quiet and peaceful

Cons.- The room doors close with big bang and nothing you can do about it. So this will keep you awake from 7.30am when people go for breakfast and also it will wake you up in the evening/night. If you have to stay then ask for room on the end of the corridor so you are far at least from the noise of people walking and talking in the corridor.
Pros.- friendly and helpful staff, clean, bed spacious and comfy.

Response from Pambos101, General Manager at Pyramos Hotel
Responded 08 Feb 2020
Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for saying in your message that our hotel has clean rooms, spacious and comfy beds as well as friendly and helpful staff. For that I feel that the rating you gave us (2 out of 5) is very low but I respect it. I apologise about the unpleasant experience you had with noise coming from other room(s). We have self-closing mechanisms installed on each door to stop doors from closing with a loud noise. Unfortunately some guests are not patient and don't wait for the door to close alone so they close it manually and that could make a noise. Thank you for your review. It will help us improve.

Just arrived back from this hotel . The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked about tea/coffee and kettle for our room and they provided them free . The room was clean and the bed was super king-size and comfy . The breakfast is continental cheese ,ham, cereal and juice so what you would expect of a small and not expensive hotel . It's not far from restaurant's,buses and the harbour so location is good. There are alot of empty buildings around the hotel but if you explore around there are some bars and restaurants nearby . We really enjoyed our stay .

This hotel is a small , cheap and cheerful place. Less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront and close to many bars and restaurants. The front desk staff were really friendly. Breakfast was okay with hot and cold drinks, cold cuts and cheeses, cereals, bread and pastries. Enough choice to get you going for the day. Our room was quite small and really clean. I mistakenly thought there was a pool as someone has posted a photo of one by accident. No worries as the sea was so close by. All in all a good one night stay at a bargain price. I would use the Pyramos again.

I booked this through booking.com to get the best deal while I was in Paphos, I walked to the hotel 15 mins later and the booking had arrived. Checked into the hotel 2 days later to be greeted by a lovely lady from Glasgow,, they printed my next day flight boarding card out for me, the room was modern and clean with an excellent shower, the sound-roofing was good and blotted out the noisy boy racers revving their engines outside. Contintinental breakfast next morning at 0730hrs attended by a very friendly Cypriot lady.

Excellent value for money, cheap and cheerful, no frills, just how I like to travel

Very budget. The rooms are cramped and the beds are positioned right next to the toilet/ door.
You get woken up by other guests walking down the corridor and slamming doors and the sewage system backs ups some smells through the drains.
If you get a balcony room then it backs onto another rooms bathroom window.
Only positives is that they supply you with a small bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap.
Breakfast is included but it’s very basic. A choice of supermarket bread, ham, cheese, cucumber or tomato. A bowl of cereal, orange juice and a coffee machine.
Staff are friendly on arrival and seem nice however there is a grumpy blonde lady on reception.
This hotel is definitely suited for someone who wants a boozy cheap holiday. Paphos has not got much to offer apart from a collection of dive bars selling dodgy booze.
