I stayed at Vrachia Beach Hotel and Suites from 13th October for a week. I can honestly say I couldn't have asked for more. Travelling on my own, I was a little bit nervous but needn't of worried. The staff and owners couldn't have done more to welcome guests and make them feel at home.

My flight got me into Paphos early evening, so the onsite restaurant was closed by the time I got to Vrachia but following a quick email to them before arrival asking if there was somewhere nearby I could get food I was offered the choice of 2 cold meat and cheese platters to be waiting for me on arrival. It was more than enough for one and delicious.

The cleaners come everyday and top up teas and coffee satches provided, clear bins and make beds. If you fancy a lie-in then simply out the Do not disturb sign out and the will come back once you are out. The whole site is super clean and well maintained. My room had a gorgeous view of the sea directly in front of the amazing sunsets, which I watched daily from my balcony, listening to the sea (yes, you are that close) 😀

The restaurant and pool bar serves lovely food with great choices for both lunch and dinner and extensive drinks options. The pool area offers towels, so you don't need to take your own, taking up valuable space and weight in your luggage.

There are also some lovely walks along the peninsula

I can't recommend Vrachia enough and will definitely be returning next year.

Thank you all at Vrachia for an amazing holiday. 👏

We stayed for 7 nights mid September and would recommend highly.

Dealing with Stelios directly, he ensured our stay was perfect. We faffed about changing rooms a few times, all was no problem. Our room had amazing views, was clean with and had all the facilities you would want for.

The hotel is very "covid" conscious, with the requirement to wear masks in all public places within the hotel. The cleaners will only clean the room if you wish, nothing seems to be a problem.

We loved the adults only aspect of the hotel, which for us made it more relaxing.

Although it seems wrong to single anybody out as they were all so lovely, a special mention to Michael, very friendly and helpful guy.

Thanks to all that made it such a great stay.

Our second visit to Vrachia was as wonderful as the 1st, and it won't be our last. Situated around 15 minutes from Paphos, the hotel is in a great location. Close enough to the "action" but far enough away to be peaceful.

Stelios and his team are all very welcoming, the rooms are bright and airy, the views spectacular with the majority of the rooms westerly facing so sunset views are guaranteed

Everywhere is clean and spotless, some other reviews complaining of the cleanliness baffle me, we witnessed nothing bad at all. Special mention to Michelle and her gang for keeping our room tidy!

See you next year :)

Wonderful views from hotel/rooms and good facilities and staff. Problem however with cleanliness and the managers attitude. We arrived and duly notified reception of cleanliness issues - fingermarks all over the microwave, food remnants inside the microwave, dirty smears on the cupboards, uff and hair beside the bed, hairs on the sofa and in the cutlery drawer, light switches that haven't been cleaned in months.. We're not obsessive - but in these times you do want things to be clean. Nothing was done however, and the next day's clean didn't resolve the issues. We then spoke with the manager who was very defensive ..."I inspect the rooms myself"...."difficulties with COVID/getting staff"...Fine, but when you"re paying 120 Euros a night, you don't expect this.
You'll need a car and swim shoes.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week break at The Vrachia beach hotel & suites.
It was simply perfect. We have not stayed in a hotel for over 15 years (always get a villa with the family) but thought it was time for some "us time". We could not have chosen anywhere more perfect if we had tried.
It was late evening when we, arrived, check in was easy and we were greeted by our names which was a lovely touch, he took us to our room and carried my case up the flight of stars for me. We quickly deposited our cases in our room and went to the bar for a drink (this closes at 11.00 pm) very nice cocktails and very well done. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful.
We went in a superior sea view 1 bedroom apartment (which has everything you need) with breakfst and the views are fantastic especially at sunsets. These are cleaned with towels replaced daily. Most mornings we'd go for breakfast at 8.30 and when we returned the room had already been cleaned and the bed made up. Wonderful ladies who always had a smile and hello for you.
Breakfast is a buffet style but with a fantastic selection catering for various nationalities.
The pool is perfect, a very chilled music is played but very low volume so you can mainly just hear the sound of the waves. No panic for sunbeds as there is always availability. Happy hour at the pool bar between 3-4 all cocktails are amazing. They serve lunches also at shaded tables next to the pool and these are also very tasty and well priced.
We ate in the hotel restaurant on a number of evenings and again, the food is delicious, the house white is recommended too.
Just up the road from the hotel (5 mins) is a supermarket (crazy spoon) great for necessities and just down from the hotel is a 24 hour supermarket, so if you arrive late and need anything it's perfect. (probably about 10 minutes walk).
There is a restaurant nearby called Sonny's (recommended booking) food is devine and very reasonable.
On our last day the hotel stored our luggage for us so we could go out or do whatever without worrying. The only downside is the "complimentary" room you can use to shower if you have a, late check out.(unable to stay in room later as it had been booked) This is more like a storage room full of furniture with no aircon which is stifling. However saying that it is free of charge and it certainly will not stop us from returning.
If you want a peaceful chill out holiday with no screaming children, but only the sound of the waves this is the place for you. The closest place to heaven we've been and cannot wait to return.
Thank you Vrachia ❤️

we’ve been here a week and from the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty, we didn’t see much of the reception staff after arrival as we were off doing our own thing, we met Nimy at the night bar who is a great character very friendly with everyone and advised where to go for good food in coral bay, the pool bar we were served by ana and Stoimen who again couldn’t do enough for us they were so accommodating for everything! the hotel itself is in a BEAUTIFUL location and you’re only a bus away from all the attractions! be weary of taxi drivers as they will charge you what ever they feel like charging on the day but a day pass on the bus is €5 and a single trip is €1.50 each way, bus stop is about a 2 minute walk next to sunset bay so you’re close enough to go and have some fun but out the way enough to get some peace and quiet, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of coming to stay. i forgot to mention how lovely the cleaners are too they will clean your room when ever you’re ready and their standards are spectacular our room was always fresh and clean and would smell unbelievable on arrival. Thankyou Vrachia for a fantastic holiday we hope to see you again :)

This hotel is the perfect place to get away from it all. Very clean and Covid secure. The staff are wonderful, Sten and Michael in particular were great at the pool bar. Rooms spacious and well equipped with fabulous views of the sea. Very comfy huge bed.
Ate at the pool bar a few times for lunch and food was delicious. Had breakfast only on our last day and it was fine, small choice as you would expect from a small hotel but everything freshly made. We ate in local restaurants during the evenings and went to Coral Bay twice on the regular bus service.
The only negative about staying here was the awful music by the pool. Same drab songs on a loop so you heard them all 3-4 times a day. When the waves are just below you I have no idea why any music is necessary at all. Everyone has music on their phones these days and earphones if they want to listen to anything. Greek music or the radio would have been much better than the selection played over and over.
After working throughout the pandemic this was a much needed relaxing break. Many thanks to all the staff.
Would we go again.......yes, without hesitation!

Just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. We stayed in a Superior One-Bedroom Apartment with Sea View which was a good size, well equipped with a lovely large balcony with superb views. The pool area is small but with sufficient sun-beds for the number of guests and with a bar serving food and drinks all day.

We found the staff at the hotel to be absolutely brilliant and willing to help with any questions or problems - particularly when I was getting a bit panicked about our transport back to the airport not turning up!!

We can thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing adults only break in a lovely location.

This Hotel has the most relaxed chilled out atmosphere that I have ever been to and where nobody whilst we were staying there got up at the crack of dawn to reserve sunbeds and then leave them unattended for hours. It's very clean, the views from our room were fantastic, with some amazing sunsets!! We were in room 202 and had an amazing view all the way round, the bed is massive and very comfortable, the cleaning ladies do start a little early but we just put the do not disturb sign on the door and then when we was ready to leave took it off and they cleaned the room everyday. The staff are all very friendly and Anna and George couldn't do enough for you, it's a shame George is leaving on the 1st October. The food round the Pool and in the Restaurant is very good, although the menu for the pool and Restaurant is exactly the same, we thought there should have been more variety on the Restaurant menu, but we ate in the Hotel Restaurant 3 times and the food is very nice. Taxis are quite expensive 20 Euro into paphos or 1.50 on the Bus, it does take about half an hour to get into Paphos on the Bus and 10 minutes to the strip at Coral Bay, you can go anywhere on the Bus for 1.50 but the price does increase to 2.50 after 9pm, it's 12 Euros in a Taxi to the Strip at Coral Bay, which is where we went most nights with a good selection of Bars and Restaurants. I would definitely recommend this Hotel if you want a chilled out relaxing holiday and we would return.

This adults only hotel is small, yet perfect. Just 30 apartments. Our apartment was basic yet perfect. Immaculately clean, fabulous sea view and wonderful balcony. The pool is a decent size and a perfect temperature. We were there just last week (June) and it was not busy. There were sunbeds available at all times of day. The sunbeds have thick cushions on and are comfortable (no need to bring towel pegs).

The area is quiet, allowing for total relaxation. Just gentle music is heard at the pool area. There is also a pool bar which provides beach towels and serves food and drinks.

The restaurant serves a wonderful choice of food, all fresh and good quality and competitively priced for the area. Most meals around 10-15 euros

There is no entertainment at the hotel but this suited us as we like the quiet.

The staff are all very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

If you want to get out and about, I would recommend hiring a car or quad bike as there is not much within walking distance at all. There is a lovely beach in walking distance. As it is on the west coast - the sunsets are amazing.

It is about a 10 minute drive into Paphos. Highly recommend visiting the Tomb of the Kings and the Mosaics at the end of the marina in Paphos.

Hi there. I believe dinner is not being served this year, however, pizza and snacks served 7-10pm. You are spoilt for choice for places to eat close by. Beautiful location in between Coral Bay and Paphos harbour. Many restaurants close by. Coffee shops and supermarkets and good bus links into the harbour/ coral bay. The hotel is right on the coastal path, I cannot comment on the suites as we stay in a 2 bed apt, however, all the rooms have a fabulous sea view unless mountain view is stated.

We stayed as a family of 3 in a one bed with a seaview. The room was very spacious with a large double bed adjacent to the patio doors and a twin seater sofa bed in an adjacent sitting area with a window. This area could be separated from the bedroom by a curtain and the sprung double sofa bed was very comfortable. Beyond this sitting area was the open plan kitchen and beyond that the entrance and very smart bathroom. We did not experience the 2 bed apartments.
Answer from STELIOS T
Yes that is possible as the hotel is situated above the sea.
