We Visited this place last weekend with our 2 year old as an overnight halt for our 2 day trip to nearby Kolmarden park. Right from the start of our drive from Kolmarden to the hotel we were overwhelmed with the scenic drive. And when we finally arrived at the property we found it excellent. Nice surroundings, well maintained and neat and tidy rooms. Staff was polite and helpful and had a nice in house restaurant with garden views. Our room had a glass wall with its door opening into a patio and a garden. My daughter was super excited to be in kids play room with lots of dolls , doll houses, , doll prams and lots of other toys to play with. The swim area was also kid friendly with lots of pool accessories for kids . so in all it was a super nice stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a very nice family reunion in Villa Fridhem. With a lot of kids this was a perfect place with the swimming pool and kids playroom. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful and the hotel gave the best possible surrounding for our gathering.

And the indoor swimmingpool is a treat. Villa Fridhem was once the summer residence of prince Carl, the royal family visited the place often. I can imagine that: stunning views over the archipelago, a charming 'home' and now an equally pleasant boutique hotel with good rooms, a restaurant and the aforementioned swimmingpool. The hotel is child friendly, the restaurant is reasonably good, the breakfast buffet catered mainly for children and the staff is excellent: very kind and helpful. We came back after our trip to Stockholm, and were sorry to leave.

Perched above the baltic bay of braviken, this is a former princely summerretreat. Now, as many of this kind of houses , it has been converted to conference center catering to the big employers. However the serve lunch to the public as well, usually only 1 option of extremely wellcooked, wllpresented food. Coffee is included and it's worth a stop !

Villa Fridhem is a relaxing little boutique hotel ideal for couples or families, especially while visiting Kolmarden park. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is located close to Kolmarden village with some nice cafes and restaurants. A special mention about the friendly staff who try hard to meet the guests expectations.
