This is not good for the money. There is an awkward smell, no internet and a lot of running in the hallways during night time. I had more or less no sleep and looked out once to check what was going on. Not sure but it looked like there was at least 3 hookers taking on customers in various rooms. On the plus side, the hotel is central and just a short walk from the train station. But the minuses gives a big, avoid!!

Rooms are simple, but will cover your basic needs. There is a frigde in the room which is nice if you want to cool beverage. Personnel is friendly and the breakfast is also nice. I would not recommend this to families, there is really nothing to do in the hotel but to sleep. Located in the city close to the train station. Parking is sparse, Drott has no own parking, so that can be a challange if you come by car. So if your need is a bed for the night with WiFi and breakfast in the morning, this will cover that need.

Location is everything - and Drott hotel is perfecty located. An easy 10 mins walk from station, 20 mins walk from the fabulous outdoor swimming pools, and 3 minutes walk from the water front. My single room was spacious, with a comfy bed and very efficient shower! I stayed here over the hottest weekend of the year (glorious sunshine) and although no a/c (which i cant abide) the room was kept nice and cool by closing the blinds and leaving the window ajar. There was also an electric fan, which was fabulous! The internet worked well in my room and in the breakfast area, and the breakfast was really good.

Everything was clean and working. The breakfast was okay. There's no elevator, and you have to go though a stair to get to the hotel. The lobby was closed most of the time. There are supermarkets and some good restaurants near by.

Please avoid this horrible hotel. Most ridiculous was smell. Whole hotel stinks bad. We checked in and checked out right after 3 hours. Then renovation started right after we checked in, drilling sound was very loud. Bathroom, floor, walls and appliances are in horrible conditions. Look at my pictures and you will see duct taped shower hose, molten hairdryer, dirty toilet and shower room, water-damaged bathroom door. From original 625SEK per night we had to pay 425SEK anyway. Not a compensation really. The owners are very very greedy.
