Hotel's Favourite
Fantastic room with a great view and opening windows. Staff were super friendly and as a solo traveller, I appreciated the evening meal included as it meant I didn’t have to go to restaurants off-site alone. Food was good. Unlimited coffee 24 hours was a nice touch along with the complimentary fika.

This is the best Clarion hotel I ever stayed at. Beautiful building that is well kept and made used of in a great way.
I stayed in a supereor room with amazing view over the river and the castle, a Comfy bed (unfortunatly two singles put together instead of a king bed) , heated bathroom floor, great water preassure in the shower, etc.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Upon arrivak there was apple pie and coffee served for free and a few hrs later a sallad buffé and some hit food, also included in the price. The breakfast was excellent as well.
Will return again!

A thoroughly wonderful city break in every sense of the word. I was travelling with my 5 year old for a mini getaway and we loved this hotel. The decor was beautiful and really enhanced the gorgeous building, this is really important to me as is the small details that create such a relaxing and comfortable environment. The room was sumptuously decorated with huge windows and a bath tub, which is really hard to come by these days in hotel stays !. The food was also delicious and the evening meal and fika included in the price was unexpectedly good and of a very high standard . My little one really loved the cakes and pastries at high tea, which was a great touch.
What really stuck me most was how family friendly this hotel was. We have stayed in many hotels advertised as family friendly and have experienced the exact opposite, for example children unwelcome in leisure areas etc which leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We loved the ability to play table tennis in the gym and the little relax area, whereby I could work out and do some yoga with my son. A huge win for us and made our stay extra special .
Finally the customer service went above and beyond helping us with requests , from finding a room with a tub, to helping us navigate the city's attractions and public transport. Thanks for a great stay, we are already planning to return with the rest of the family !

We had a very good experience at the Clarion Collection Hotel Borgen. The hotel is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms are especially nice. The fact meals were included with our stay, was a big plus. The staff was very nice and accommodating.
The hotel was within walking distance from the city center, and the beautiful castle.
Parking was in a separate parking lot, with just a short walk from the hotel. We were able to park in front of the hotel to unload and load our luggage. There was a lift for luggage so there was no need to carry our luggage up or down the few steps into the hotel lobby area.
The hotel was in a beautiful location near a canal. It was a very quiet and peaceful location.
I would highly recommend this hotel, and if I were ever to return to Örebro, I would definitely stay here again.

Had wanted hypoallergenic room without carpeting - but they had been given to other residents “who happened to stay longer”.
Hot and stuffy room. Was panel for AC, which did not work. Left to either sleep with an open window - facing the busy street on the ground floor - or with a small table fan running all night.
The room overall worn and boring. Miss everything that usually makes hotels lovely. Hard single beds. A pillow/bed, no extras in the room. No body lotion or conditioner. Dull and dark interior.
The sink needs to be cleared (water barely ran through), but unmanned reception at Check-out so couldn't tell. Had to wait for service even at check-in.
Vegetarian option at dinner was only vegetables (instead of chicken).
The hotel has a good location in town, but otherwise I would rather have stayed elsewhere.

This was a hotel we had never used before, but it will not be the last time! Nice room with a beautiful wiew of The river. A nice surprise for us was that coffee and cookies in the afternoon and a nice evening meal was included.
Bus stop only 100 meters away, very good if you are going to a party in the suburbs!
Only drawback was it was a bit noisy in the street by midnight.

Beautiful historic building in a central location nearby the castle. We had a large and comfortable room (with a snug tower corner). Unfortunately it was quite warm in the room and no working airconditioning, but a fan brought some relieve. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet (both with enough choice) as well as the free fika. There are (paid) parking places for hotel guests nearby the hotel.
We were lucky to find the free hotel bikes available, so we could explore the city, city parks and the Rynningeviken Natuurreservat.

Absolutely terrific! We slept so well in the beautiful room 316 with a turret space outfitted with a round table and chairs perfect for looking at the river. The dinner was outstanding with vegetarian soup, salad bar, and delicious vegan entree (upon request). A perfect location to walk around to see the sights and the shopping nearby.

I recently stayed at this budget hotel for a business trip and had a less than satisfactory experience. My room was on the first floor, which compromised privacy as people could easily look in. The hotel did not have air conditioning, and the temperature in the room at night was almost 26°C, making it extremely uncomfortable. Opening the window was not a viable option due to the noise and cigarette smoke from outside. The small fan provided did little to alleviate the heat and only brought in more smoke. I would not recommend this hotel for a summer stay due to the lack of effective cooling options and overall discomfort.

We stayed at this location for 3 nights and happened to be there when it was pretty warm along with being placed facing the event venue/bar that played rather loud music. They did have a small tabletop fan which moved the air around but if you are facing this event venue do bring earplugs (even with the windows closed). Closing the windows made it warm but we couldn’t decide which was the worse fate. They say online AC but that is not true. Otherwise, the breakfast, fika and dinner were phenomenal! Good price point for that. I would just say make sure and visit during a non warm time (it was unseasonably warm) and make sure you are faced away from any loud streets/music. Staff were very nice. Paid parking down the street.

I can’t remember if there were 6 floors and I guess they have different rooms, u can see them in the website my one was small, cozy but very comfortable.
IT is possible, but you have to walk a bit back to the hotel. Could be difficult to find the first time. Once my lot was taken by another car. Not the best system in the world
Det är en tid sedan, men troligen var det så.
