We spent 4 nights here as part of a longer family holiday in Sweden. This was an excellent value hotel. There was nothing we could find fault with. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were lovely, the buffet breakfast was great and it was right in the town centre. Having only 40 or so rooms, it was small enough to feel personal. Orebro has a lovely town centre with a cool castle and an award-winning park. With hindsight, 4 nights was too long, but I would definitely recommend 2-3 nights in Orebro and in the Behrn Hotel to experience something different than Stockholm.

I have stayed there only for business. Always so kind persons in the reception. Fantastic breakfast and nice rooms. The restaurant is good and the dining facilities are great! Liked the wine bar even if it almost ruined me :-)

We are a family of four (children 1.5 and 3 years old). We recently stayed at Behrns twice. The staff impressed us, with their very very good service-attitude. Whatever we asked (and parents of young children have lots of questions and odd requests), they were very quick to help us out with. Example: in the evening, we asked if there was some milk we could have (as the youngest tend to wake up and ask for some during the night). The receptionist not only got us some milk in a mug, but put it in a winecooler with ice to keep it chilled.

When I first walked in, I thought the hotel looked really dated. However I think this is just the style. I had a very friendly greeting from reception.
My bedroom had a dated style but everything looked new, was spotlessly clean and lovely quality towels. There wasn’t much storage space. The lack of sockets by the desk or bed is annoying because most people want to charge phones or devices these days. I found the room a little warm, with warm air blowing out of a grill that I couldn’t control. With a temperature of -10c outside, I didn’t really want the window open to cool it down! Despite these comments, I still liked the room and it was very quiet even though it faced the front of the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was not huge but nice.
There is a good choice of restaurants in the area and it’s nice to walk around the town and castle. The hotel does not have a carpark which could be difficult if you have a car.

The review that I had forgotten to do! On the other hand, the stay is well remembered, This family owned hotel is really a gem. Located right in the centre of this mid sized cultural town. Neat, clean, comfy and friendly. Maybe a bit aspiring to look English and no harm in that. Location initially scared us as we feared astronomical parking fees. But at least over weekend it was free. But don't forget ear plugs, as sound from central square clubs and restaurants can be heard quite well! Oh, almost forgot to mention the wonderul ambience of the reception area/lounge, Just sit down, have a free coffe/tea, relax and plan your future! For us, we will be happy to choose this hotel in the future.

We stayed there for one night. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We also had a few questions before we arrived, and the staff was very quick to reply to our emails. The hotel is located in the city center, so the location is great. We where a family of 5 so we needed 2 rooms, one of the rooms where perhaps a bit worn down, but clean and that is the main thing for us. Wifi worked perfectly.
Breakfast was also very nice, plenty of both cold and hot dishes, only thing missing was perhaps a bit more salad and fruit.
Would like to stay there again next time we are in Orebro.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and really like this place. Great that it's not part of a chain so it can be a bit more personal.

Stayed here 5 years ago when last here and again now - what a wonderful quant hotel in the middle of town.
Right from check in I was made to feel welcome and went up to a very nice room which had plenty of space and could open the windows if required - which I did.
Nice small bar in the reception area and serves a good breakfast.

Nice,clean and personal hotel. Far away from the big chains. The bed was nice with extra pillows. Breakfast like at home in the kitchen but with more choices than at home; a full breakfast buffé.
Staff was very helpful. Our room overlooked a building with sod roof, unexpected in the city center.
