I was looking for somewhere inexpensive close to Orebro-C station - Hotel Storgarden fitted the bill. The room was spacious and bright although the decor was a little bit tired. However there is a comfortable guest lounge with complimentary tea and coffee. Breakfast is perfectly adequate and the hotel is very close to the centre of Orebro. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. Be careful though - reception is only open from the early afternoon until early evening.

we found the hotel to be charming and modest. The decor was quaint. The rooms were large, and the beds comfy. There was a small TV. The bath was fine, however the two rooms we occupied had a shower that was in a room with ackward steps up into it.
The breakfast was sufficient. It was a very cental location for walking the historic part of town.
The hotel is accessed by a flight of steps up to the lobby, and no elevator to the room floors. This can be a bit ackward if you have large luggage, or have mobility issues . Street parking is very easy. For our low budget, this hotel was very acceptable.

We stood in Hotel Storgarden in May 2014 for 1 night. Very kind receptionist showed us two various rooms for choose because we are very sensible for any noise. Room which we chose has window to street but there was quiet enough whole night. Our room was big enough and all facilities were ok. The breakfast was ok too. But the price for double room was too much for my opinion, comparing the same hotel not in Sweeden. In Sweeden all hotels are expensive I think. Thanks for stuff of the hotel
