Everything about this hotel was sparse, including the smallest "desk", rickety chair and fairly limited breakfast. Overall noise level was high, with both voices and slamming door sounds amplified by the large, open polished cement staircase.

It is not a bad hotel. Big bedroom.,very well located and the people there are great

Breakfast is not bad but quite short menu

However, it is quite expensive for what it offers and there are things to be improved

Not a great stay in my opinion. Great location, but that's about all that was great about this hotel. Obvious when first entering the room was the lack of floor cleaning, old dust and lint from earlier guest all over. The shower was pretty much the same with a big pile in one corner of the shower with lint, hairs, etc. Plus, the warm water went away after two minutes of showering.

Breakfast was very modest and orange juice was fermented, made my stomach cringe. First and last visit to this hotel for me.

Wi-fi connection poor and slow, no staff in reception. All and all, in regards to the price for a night, this hotel is far from getting your moneys worth.

You will need earplugs to sleep in this place. You can even hear when the person next door breahtes. And the staff is talking loudly in the coridors early in the morning. The room could be much cleaner and needs repair. The only good thing is the hotel’s location - close to the city, but on the ground floor there is a bar, so you will hear the party to your room.

Sometimes the circumstances mean that you basically have to book what is available and that doesn't cost SEK 2,000 for a night. This was one such time. Stayed here in May this year and it was lousy. This time it was DISASTROUS!!

Starting with me getting a room where the door can barely be closed (closest to the breakfast room on the right side) I have to SLAM the door for it to work.

The bedside lamp is not properly attached to the wall but wobbles around. The TV sits on the wall directly inside the door and cannot be angled towards the bed.

But the WORST thing is that they have made an ugly connection in the bathroom for the drain (see photo). Which causes the whole room to smell like molehills. So terribly disgusting!! Sure, you can have a fan running, but it sounds like a full jet plane.

And I paid around SEK 860 for this. Senseless!!

I booked this hotel for 2 nights via a travel agency. It mentioned that it was open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. I arrived at 10 pm and impossible to enter. I called the phone number on the door and no answer. I went to another hotel and sent a mail to complaint. I received a response back at 11:30 pm informing that there was a code to enter and I should have better read the booking form, so I was due to sleep in this hotel. I looked at my booking form and saw no code. Next day I called the travel agency who also informed that no code was received and they could not reach them. Next day at 6 pm I rang at the door and nobody. I rang the phone number on the door and nobody replied. I was informed that this hotel was a bit dodgy. After a few days and a lot of efforts the travel agency managed to get reimbursed.

Checked in with my 75 year old mother late around midnight (no personnel, they just had put out the key for us in the reception). No toilet in the room so we went looking everywhere in the facilities for a shared one but could not find anyone and one guest that we met told us that there were not any. Found a phone number at the reception that we called and they told us that there were not any toilets we could use, that it probably been some mistake at booking.com and that the room was not supposed to be let out. They didn't have any other room available and told us we could use the PUBLIC TOILET in the town square outside the hotel building. They could not solve our problem any other way and said we would get our money back for the room. We tried to get a hold on some other hotel in the area but since it was 1 am there were no answers anywhere, so we needed to spend the night there. You can imaging how many times my 75 old mother needs to use the toilet per night... Afterwards we have contacted the hotel both through the booking.com and through their other channels, but didn't even bother replying or give our money back. Disgusting behavior!

We booked a room with 3 beds. Once there, they said that there was water damage in that room, so we had to stay in an APARTMENT that was connected to the hotel. There were dirty dishes left in the sink, there was trash in the trash can in the bathroom, and an old plaster on the couch. I couldn't bear to argue with them and the lady who worked there was very nice.
A few hours after we had checked out, I received a nasty text message where they claimed that the berries in the fridge were missing.
I called the person who turned out to be the woman's son and asked if he claims we have taken berries that were in the fridge and got a nasty answer back. I mentioned that we want compensation for a dirty room but he refused and then I mentioned that they have to count on a bad review..
We have slept in many different hotels in Sweden and abroad but have never been treated in this way.
It is also incredibly responsive on weekends as there is a bar under the hotel.

Wonderful cozy hotel for the price. Incredibly nice owner who did everything to make you feel comfortable.
A smaller variant of the breakfast buffet but fulfilled its need. Paid SEK 800 for a large room with private bathroom and two breakfast buffets. Unbeatable price.

Very well located hotel. Very nice people... but the "hotel" is terrible! It is mor a sort of pension. It is not cheap (around 130€ per night a double room) and we got a room -num. 23- without any cupboard and just a coat rack and 3 hangers!!!! We were 3 days and towels were not changed. The bath room was not cleaned ... and we got a small bottle of shampoo for the 3 days. It was a really bad experience for my wife and my.
