We stayed in the family suite. It was large by guesthouse standards of a similar nature. There a two rooms with a massive bathroom. All were squeaky clean. There is no separate shower but the bath tub has a hand held shower. The Charlotte Rhys amenities added a touch of luxury. The gardens are beautiful. The guest services communicated well. Breakfast and dinner can be ordered. Will stay again.
Nice and cosy, rooms facing a central court so you can avoid any interaction. Great food both for dinner (outside) and breakfast (inside). Just the perfect place to break the long drive from Cape to Joburg.
We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation - it exceeded our expectations. The rooms are well appointed, staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. Two thoughts to the owners: dinner - it is a bit expensive for what we received and I was surprised that there was no dessert; also would have preferred higher quality wine by the glass. Secondly, breakfast was a real treat and I'm glad we waited for that, but it will be a great help if that can be served earlier so one can be on the road earlier.
This was a stunning stop over on our way to Cape Town after a long drive from Johannesburg. Clean, modern, stylish furnishings that really help refresh and recharge you. This place is even more special because of the lovely welcome and delicious dinner that was prepared for us from their welcoming staff and breakfast the following day. Super treat, great hidden gem found in the middle of nowhere.
We stayed at the Boutique Guesthouse in Hanover, on our way back from the Western Cape to Centurion. The room was great and the service excellent. Hanna and her staff were very friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed our overnight stay at Hanover Boutique Guesthouse and will stay there again.
