I am happy to stay in this hotel, it is incredibly close to the main street in the center, room is with nice view, room are nice and with the necessary supplies and the lady from the reception was so kind for our requests and giving us information where we can go, beaches and means of transportation. I enjoyed my stay very much!:):)
The room was not very clean, dust everywhere and garbage under the bed. The toilet had stains and the windows had marks on them. We found used water bottles in the fridge and under the bed aswell as a pair of slippers! When we complaint the receptionist around 55 years old *without her mask on* didn't take us seriously. She acted like she doesnt really care about her job there. My husband noticed a very strong cigarette smell there. This hotel has poor managment! Simply needs an upgrade AS FOR COVID, WE SAW THE STUFF CLEANING WITHOUT THEIR MASKS ON NEITHER GLOVES. UNACCEPTABLE! The bathroom was very dirty! and the bathtub had stains !!!
This place is run by bad, threatening people. They have no concern for safety and only want their grubby cash. If you raise any concerns or have any alterations, they will refuse to accommodate. The rooms are also horrible. Should be driven out of business for the good of the island.
Nice hotel; not cheap, but fair value. Our room on the 2nd floor was newly renovated. It was bright and clean with marble floors and a large window and balcony giving gorgeous views over the marina, canal, and mountains. Weirdly there was only one ill fitting curtain, not big enough to cover the whole window or block out the street lights, but that didn’t keep us awake. The bed was big and comfortable, and it had good reading lights and power sockets at either side. The bathroom had a corner bath with a decent shower above it. The A/C was good - quiet, and not too dehydrating. We wouldn’t usually use A/C except in the height of summer, but it’s mosquito month in Lefkada 🦟🦟🦟 so sleeping with the window open wasn’t an option 😬 Given the difficult tourist season this year, Lefkada’s already beginning to close down for winter. The hotel was almost empty and didn’t have much atmosphere, but it seemed the best option among the few places still open. The reception staff were low key but always pleasant, and each morning at 8am they delivered a basic packed breakfast to our door - in line with covid restrictions. There were builders working in the foyer, as the renovations are ongoing, but they were quiet and considerate. Small but important points: There was a fridge and a kettle in the room - hurrah. We brought our own teabags, though, as only coffee was supplied. The free wifi was a bit patchy but adequate. The hotel doesn’t have a carpark. We had no trouble finding a space on the street nearby, but no doubt it would be much harder to park in a busier year/season.…
Great once again. We arrived on 1/10/20. The hotel has been renovated and our room was very clean. We stay at a junior suite with lovely view (photo) !! They follow strictly covid protocols as well. The island is so beautiful and beaches are near and on foot. Try Castro (700m) and Saint John (aprx. 1.500m) Beaches just 1-5 minute drive from Lefkas town.
