Detailed Reviews
I've been going to Sutton Bay park for 6 years. I come here with my baseball team and we are always so welcomed. They go up and above to make every one so welcomed and comfortable. It's always clean, refreshing, and so family like. There is a pool at the front of the camp ground and a beach further back. Bathrooms and showers kept so clean and stocked. Laundry room and a corner store. Now that's only the camp ground. The owner and workers are extremely friendly and welcoming. They always make us feel like part of the family. Pricing is immaculate, very affordable. Water and electricity at every site. Please make the effort and go see and stay at this camp ground. You won't be sorry, I promiss u that. The best camp ground around. I've been going to New Liskeard for years for baseball tournaments and it is by far the best camp ground I've seen in liskeard. Try it out u won't be sorry. ( 2 thumbs up from this girl). I'll b there again and again every year.

The owners of Sutton Bay are smiling friendly people who obviously love what they do. We enjoyed camping here in a spacious drive-through spot with electric and water hookups for our RV. The showers were spotless and all facilities were well-kept. The pool was not open yet as it was still a little cool. We will save that for our next visit!

Nice facilities and great staff. More than welcome and the place was spotless. The sites are well setup and the restroom and showers were spotless.
If I went back through that area I know where I would park my rig.
WiFi was a little spotty but I'm there for the outdoors, not the computer access. Town is close by and my wife loved the Quilt Barn, just down the road.

Raymond, the owner and host, was terrific! The park is well run and low key. There are no barricades on arrival and fees for every little thing. The location is excellent. The Wifi was good. I would not hesitate to go back...

My wife and I have been seasonal campers for the last 8 years. The park owners are very friendly and inviting. Our grandkids have been visiting for 4-6 weeks each season and are always warmly welcomed. This is a great family park. The campers are warm and friendly and willing to help and add new friends. Campers who come for a few days to a month or more really like the atmosphere and friendliness of the park.
A Great place to camp for a few days or all season.

Sutton Bay Park is a huge campground, clearly with a lot of history (and that is meant very positively). Apart from long-stay campers, there are plenty of wide-sized overnight lots, and provided with all services. You are welcomed by the owner, giving you a lot of useful information about the park and the region. After registering, you will be shown to your vacation lot. Accomodations are in the registration building, which may be a little bit far to go. Yet everything is clean and free. WiFi is not always a success on the campground, yet near the office everything works smoothly. During summertime, the nearby lake surely is very valuable, and one can see that the lake is one of the main attractions. Although not directly close to the city center (which may be an advantage because of the peaceful and quiet environment) it is easy to get there. People interested in a trip into Québec province, won't have to travel far.

My boyfriend and I parked our trailer here for the new Liskeard bikers reunion. They were very friendly and accommodating. The sites are large and well maintained. Campground has a pool and playground for children and seems very family friendly. We are close to new Liskeard but far enough away to still feel like camping.

This is an excellent campground, located on the lake about 6 miles from New Liskeard. It has both many seasonal sites and overnight site, with both areas being separate.
The campground is to the right before going up the steep Waugh's Hill, with the office located a little ways into the campground at the top of the rise. In the office I was met by the owner, who is brilliant, very pleasant, helpful and provided loads of local information and brochures, ensuring they were all in English. He even provided a tub of fresh tomatoes from his garden. Once checked in he drove me around, showing me 2 site, so we got to pick our preference.
Interior roads are gravel, but are well maintained and I no problems easily navigating a big rig - 41' 5'er + F350 dually. The sites are well maintained grass and are fairly level, with our site having a gentle slope to the rear. Services were 30 amp FHU, with everything well located. Good water pressure. Completely uninterupted view of the satellites. Wifi is free and worked well most of the time, although we did get cut off occassionally.
Campground is spotlessly clean and is well maintained. Only negative is during our 3-days they had no container for garbage. The seasonals are generally in a good state of repair. Campground rules are well observed and everyone was very pleasant.
Small outdoor pool and kids playground are available.
Will definitely return if back in this area.
