Carmichael’s restaurant has fantastic views and excellent food. Best part of the hotel experience. A must for visiting guests Overall good hotel facilities & a clean room, although smaller than I had expected. Plunge pool was very small. Service was variable and often very slow

Flight was cancelled so we had to scramble to find a place to stay an extra night in Antigua. Our other hotel we had stayed during our 5 day vacation was fully booked so we settled on Sugar Ridge since it looked nice from the outside and the prices were unbelievable reasonable,

I went with three girlfriends on Aveda points for three nights and we added two. The staff and accommodations were fantastic. The Aveda spa was glorious. The food was just ok. We found some we liked better at Jolly Harbour. The resort is nestled in the hills, making the views

My room smelt musty but mattress was ok. It was a bore having to wait for the shuttle bus every time I wanted to go to my room. Food was very good but waiter service was very slow. Couldnt find the barman beside the pool to order drinks the next morning but he did eventually

This place is simply beautiful and a divine resting place. The staff, cleanliness and personalized service is beyond what you find at a large resort. The views and slightly off the beach location add to its peaceful setting. I’ve stayed here 2 times for a week in the last three

Is there a dress code for dinner at the restaurant?
Hi, During the day we find most guests are in cover ups / shorts and in the evening we prefer resort casual. We do not require ties or jackets for gentlemen. Its all open air and quite frankly too hot for that.

Hi! There are plenty of events for guests and honestly we enjoyed the beach so much we only used the pool early morning or on the day/s where we didn't frequent the pool, but rest assured 5:30/6 is a good time because after that there's a lot to do in the evening and you want to go freshen up and get ready. Also noting a room with a plunge pool is the way to go if you want a pool at all times/hours. Really great convenience and nice added touch. Bathrooms on the premises everywhere; reception area, spa, gym, pool area outside, restaurants, etc. You're good to go!

Hi, our room was 35 on a second floor! We have a partial view of ocean, mountains and was fantastic view!! Do not take a room with higher numbers higher!! Up to that number, there is kind of dark side there!
