The hotel is very central near the river. If any attraction is too far to walk there’s always taxis outside the hotel and they’re very reasonably priced. Enjoy your stay!

Where can you park to catch a taxi to this hotel

There is parking right next to the Hotel . Taxis pull up for fares . Porto is very compact - a great walking city therefore a car isn‘t essential . Hope this is useful

We did not have a car. We took a taxi from the train station to the hotel. Walked everywhere else.

Does the house ribeira Porto hotel allow early check in? Or if not early check in, would they allow us to drop off our luggage early so that we can explore? We arrive at 12pm and would like to take advantage of the day. Thank you in advance!

Hello, they have definitely a luggage room to deposit your things there. We have used that service cause of our late return flight. Early check in is always a request, you can send a remark with your booking and ask when you check in. Thomas

Great location, very nice personnel

3 night stay for business. The location is perfect if you want to visit the touristic places after work because you are right there. The room wasn’t big, and it had views to a dark inner courtyard, but it was quiet, clean, with an ample bathroom and included free bottled water, tea and coffee. I got a complimentary glass of porto wine when I arrived, and two cookies and a small bottle of wine when I left. Breakfast schedule is wide (7:30 to 12h) and the food offered varied and tasty. Prime location, amenities can be better

Perfect location, enjoyed using property owned smartphones to get around. Helena at front desk was very helpful. Room and bathroom was too small. for about 10 mins during last night there was a plumbing issue which created a rancid smell.

Lovely place, lovely people, great location.

We spent two nights at the hotel and came away feeling we had a great experience. The room was nice and spacious, the staff were super friendly and the breakfasts were wonderful. The location is fantastic.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Room was large for European hotels. Staff was great. Ended up leaving our passport in the room safe upon leaving. Staff helped facilitate their return to us at another hotel hours away. Would highly recommend this hotel

Awesome stay

I've been to scores of hotels throughout Europe and this is my favorite! I felt so welcomed by the staff. The vibe is warm and genuine. Jorge was very accommodating and fun to talk to. The penthouse was so nice offering commanding views of the Douro river and all the splendor that surrounds. I will visit again👍 James Adkins…
