In the heart of the city
No gym, that is all to say negative. Rooms are well decorated and modern. It is in the heart of the city. Less than 5 minute walk to most sites in the historic city center. Probably 10 min walk to the furthest attraction. Parking is free but a bit complicated the first time you go. You have to go through one of those raising bollards (there is a guard during the day, otherwise drive close to the bollard and it automatically lowers), park, and put the hotel’s card on your windshield. Then it’s about a 5 min walk downhill. There are some cobble stones that aren’t conducive to luggage wheels right at the beginning, but after that it’s pretty easy. Finally, breakfast did not have a lot of selections, but everything was of high quality.

AMAZING LOCATION!
The hotel is in the middle of the historic district within walking distance of everything. Our room was unique and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Staff was nice and helpful! The only small issue is the wall/adjoining door enabled us to hear everything in the room next door.

Great Hotel right in the Historic District
We arrived in Guimaraes in a torrential downpour. The staff at the hotel were very helpful in getting us to the free parking The room we had #106 was very clean and private. We used the hotel as aa base for 3 days of exploring North West Portugal. Each afternoon we returned the location rewarded us with excellent walking access to historic attraction and restaurants. if you do not like church bells this may not be the place for you but we really liked it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If we visit Guimaraes again this will be our hotel of choice.

Great room, restaurant and location
Newly updated decorations combine a more contemporary look with an old and stylish facility. Had one of our better dinners in Portugal here. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good wifi. Location close to downtown.

Great lication
Enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location is in heart of the old town. Staff were friendly, room was clean and breakfast was good, although the coffee was cold on both mornings. Would stay again if in the town.

Olá. Gostaria de saber que atividades posso fazer com 3 crianças de 7,10 e 17 anos durante a tarde de domingo dia 7 de Fevereiro . Conhecem atividades apropriadas para estas faixas etárias?

Do ponto de vista cultural poderá verificar os eventos neste website guicul O website guimaraesturismo faz um resumo das atrações da cidade. Poderá fazer uma visita histórico/cultural pelo centro histórico com uma ida obrigatória ao castelo e ao Paço dos Duques de Bragança. Poderá visitar os museus da cidade. Poderá subir à Montanha da Penha ou de carro ou de teleférico. Para os mais aventureiros, uma subida a pé é também aconselhável. A quando do check in, por norma, a nossa receção informa todos os locais a visitar. Ficamos ao inteiro dispor para qualquer esclarecimento que julgue necessário. Até dia 7!
