This property gives you a special sense to your stay - feel it, see it and taste it. More than a hotel, AlmaLusa is a place where you immerse yourself into the Portuguese culture through our historic origins, unique experiences and partnerships with exclusive Portuguese brands. We are centrally located in the historic neighborhood, close to Lisbon's stunning attractions such as unique historical monuments, extraordinary museums, exclusive local and worldwide shopping brands, riverside area and world-class nightlife with trendy restaurants, bars & tascas. Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!

AlmaLusa is paradise in Lisbon!

The staff are really friendly and fun, and know the best places to go in Lisbon, Delfina restaurant is not your usual 'hotel restaurant' - it's delicious and fully Portuguese. The location is literally iconic, and the rooms are really beautiful.

This is an excellent choice if traveling with three. Our room was big enough, each of us had our own twin bed, and there was a small seating area with a coffee maker and water station. The bathroom was small, but I think it was big by European standards. It was roomy enough.

Hello! We are wondering if the hotel has any self service laundry facilities or if there is a nearby laundromat? We do not want to pay for the expensive hotel laundry service. Thanks!
Hi Lucia we have our laundry service with reasonable prices such as 8.3 to wash and iron a shirt, trousers. Underwear and socks is 1€ per piece Also, just 4 blocks away you have a self laundry that for approximately 8€ you can wash and dry. Thanks Sofia

How is the breakfast? Do they have room service?
Hi Wanda! We have a breakfast buffet, with a variety of portuguese food, including drinks (tea, juice, coffee, decaf, milk), iogurt, pasteries (cake, bread, croissants), cereals, ham and cheese, fruit salad, eggs/bacon and rice upon request. We prefer quality rather than quantity, that's why most of the products served are homemade and we make sure that all of them are of top portuguese quality. We also have room service. We hope to welcome you! See you soon, Cátia
