Some say it has the best view of Lisbon! From our panoramic restaurant where breakfast is served every morning for our guests, you will not be indifferent to the Cristo Rei embracing Lisbon, the river Tagus and the 25th of April Bridge… However, the main feature of Monte Belvedere by Shiadu is not simply its amazing view! Its 21 rooms, some of which with a magnificent view of the river Tagus, have all the comfort you need for an unforgettable stay and our dedicated staff will welcome you, making you feel as if you were at home. Every day you will enjoy our delicious home-made breakfast prepared just for you! Near Monte Belvedere by Shiadu you will find the Northwind Statue. The higher part of Santa Catarina is one of the most beautiful places of Lisbon and only two steps away from the city buzz. With views over the river Tagus, is famous because of its lookout point. According to legend throughout the centuries, from here one could see the moving ships. Follow your instinct!

Energetic, open staff providing relevant info. Environmental thinking, positive vibes, suitable minibar. Clean and friendly. Adored breakfast on roof top, so tasty and on demand prepared omelets by Marisa. A place to return to!

My family and I had four nights at the hotel when visiting Lisbon and we would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff were lovely throughout our stay and made an extra effort to make us feel welcome. The breakfast in the rooftop restaurant is a perfect way to start the day

Its not big, but it has everything you want, nearly. We had a room with a view, but a small bathroom. The staff are friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. We had a problem getting food on the night we arrived, we got it but it might be worth them informing visitors to book

Is there an elevator? thanks
A very small one but it does the job. The rooftop views from the restaurant are lovely. Made me very homesick for New Zealand.

Hi there, is breakfast included in the rate? How much would be the shuttle from and into airport? Thanks
Hello, Breakfast was included. The taxi was very cheap about 12 Euro as taxi is the best alternative!

Is there a washing machine for the use of guests?
I cannot recall a washing machine but the staff are so helpful and responsive I would suggest emailing and asking. By the way, we loved our stay here

"Room 33 good view, but small bathroom"
"Our top floor room was close to the restaurant kitchens and therefore noisy until about 11 PM. Lower floor might be quieter."
"Lift is small, so if you don't like stairs, skip the entire hotel."
"We had rooms on first floor and they were great. Noisy if the windows were open but there is air con so you could close the windows."
"If you want a view, ask for a higher floor on the river side."
