Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!

This place is in a perfect location for seeing the city. The aerobus stops outside for ease of getting to and from the airport and there's a metro not 50m away. Rooms are a little dated but perfectly fine and clean. Rooftop terrace has great views of the city and contrary to

We found more positives than negatives at this well-located, good value hotel. On the plus side, the room/suite was spacious, with big windows for fresh air; the breakfast buffet was very good; the rooftop patio a nice refuge from busy Lisbon and the bartender very friendly.

The place is a bit dated, but still adequate for a city stay. The front desk staff seemed to go out of their way to not greet people, or even be helpful. Also the HVAC system is very dated, so ALL the rooms can either have heat, or AC, so at spring and fall, the rooms can be a

We booked a double room with a separate lounge which had tv, Wi-fi bed settee and a dining table. The rooms also have small kitchen facilities including hob, fridge and microwave. Don’t expect luxury but the rooms are spacious and clean. We ate out, breakfast can be found in

Don't expect VIPs or Executives; none will be in sight. This is more a budget hotel than business or luxury one. The hotel's clientele when we were there was mixed in age and nationality, but seemed to lean a bit more toward students and young families. The hotel is quiet,

Banheira e cortininha - em nada atrapalhou.
Banheiro com bidê. Confortável
I was in Lisbon at the end of autumn, I think so because I remember I asked if it was possible to enjoy the swimming pool and they answered it was possible during spring and of course in summer

Yes. Hotel will inform you but quite a few nearby. Don’t park in the street - I saw so many cars that had been clamped for illegal parking - they also wrap tape around the car ! Enjoy , Lisbon is beautiful.

I will have a car and wanted to know where I should park it?
I'm not sure as I did not have a car. Perhaps contact the hotel and see if they have a recommendation.

Where do you park your car?
There seemed to be parking underneath the square - Praça dos Restauradores. I would contact the hotel directly to enquire. The public transport is excellent, so having a car isn't at all necessary.
