Stayed at Lisbon Marriott hotel in September 2021. This hotel is relatively close to Lisbon airport, about 5 min taxi ride. It’s a bit away from downtown Lisbon, but easy Uber access in 10 min without traffic. Hotel was paying a lot of attention to safety and sanitation - that’s great. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was decent with good variety. Club lounge was open in the evening, serving nice snack and drinks. My room was clean and modern. Overall it was a nice stay and I’d recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel and very attentive staff they helped us with all our queries about pcr tests etc, the concierge was also very good and booked us some very nice restaurants, the hotel is a little out the city but we chose this as it had a pool, travelling into the centre wasn’t difficult with cabs roughly €15

I am a Titanium member of Marriott and which means that I stay over 75 nights per year at Marriott Hotels. It is the first time that I had such a bad checkin experience. The front desk staff seems to be undertrained and a bit rude. We had booked two rooms and were 4 adults and 2 small kids. But they wanted us to book three room instead of 2... saying that the maximum occupancy per room was 3. So I had to explain to the person who was checking us in that 4+2= 6 and 3*2=6 also... so two rooms would enough. In addition, I have not received and welcoming message or amenities as Titanium member, the executive lounge was closed so the happy hour was in a small place and it was was very poor. We had to pay after two beers per person, and of course nobody informed us about this, so while leaving the happy hour the waitress gave us a bill!!! In addition, most of the staff at the breakfast were not friendly, tables were not set up most of the time. We had to take the table set up by ourself or to be lucky to find a waitress who was willing to set up the table for us. To finish, the rooms amenities were not replaced... we stayed there almost a week and everyday I had to call to get the room amenities replaced. The property is nice even though it is a bit old, but the staff needs a serious update or training.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large. They require proof of negative COVID test at check-in. They were very accommodating on late-check out. I only used the bar so I cannot comment on food options, but that was good as well. Some very cool art for sale as well. I didn't buy any but enjoyed viewing.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend the Lisbon Marriott Hotel. As every year, I am happy to visit Portugal, unfortunately in 2020 the pandemic situation prevented me from implementing my tourist plans, but this year I caught up. I highly recommend all business and individual guests to stay at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel. I pay special attention to the maintenance of special care in the field of safety & hygiene, especially now while still during a pandemic. The hotel meets the highest safety standards, receptionists check covid passports, everywhere in the hotel there are information signs about the need to wear masks and disinfect hands. In the public areas of the hotel there are disinfectant dispensers. The rooms are very clean and the employees take special care and care for the health and safety of guests and co-workers, which can be seen at every step. Marriott, I have not seen so many groups of guests because the pandemic of many of them significantly limited the possibility of movement, but I saw those guests I met in the facility joyful and certainly satisfied with their stay. The breakfast food was also served with the highest safety standards. The breakfast food was placed on the plates by the hotel staff, which had a significant impact on the cleanliness and hygiene of the buffets. It was my next stay at this hotel and I was not disappointed, I will be there come back on every trip to Portugal. I highly recommend the hotel also for families with children. The rooms are large and spacious and some of them have a view of the beautiful patio and swimming pool and the panorama of Lisbon. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the receptionist who served me during check-in, I checked into the hotel very late, around 1 o'clock on the night of August 9. Despite such a late hour, the receptionist greeted me with a sincere smile and a huge dose of energy. On the last night of my stay on August 12/13, during the night shift, a very young receptionist worked at the reception desk, I think she was an intern. I had the opportunity to talk to her on the phone. For a long time, I have not heard such a nice and warm voice, it was clear that the values of the Marriott service standards are no strangers to her and all matters reported by the guest were resolved quickly and with great commitment. On the day of departure, she had the opportunity to talk to people responsible for the Guest Relation area at the hotel, it was just a meeting. Mrs. Susana and Mrs. Catarina are 100% professionals in their field. A warm welcome and asking with care about your stay at the hotel is something that at Lisbon Marriott it’s standard. Always on the highest possible level. In this hotel I do not feel only as a guest .. but I have the impression that I always come to good friends or family. I highly recommend Lisbon Marriott Hotel.
