21 girls spent 4 nights here for a Hen Do, the facilities were perfect and Francisco and his staff went the extra mile to make our stay extra special (our suitcase went 'missing' from London to Lisbon and Francisco managed to locate the suitcase and bring it back to the apartment on the second evening!) We couldn't fault our stay, breakfast was superb and the terrace.. incredible!!
We had an excellent stay in The House. We enjoyed the fact that it was relatively central, yet not in the heart of the touristic area. (We were overwhelmed by the number of tourists in Lisbon though it was the end of September). We spent our last night in Portugal enjoying the view from the terrace with a glass of wine. This made a perfect conclusion to our trip to Portugal.
We had a wonderful 6 night, family and friends stay at The House in late December, 2018. There was 11 of us and we had plenty room. The place was wonderful. The neighborhood was great, with a small grocery store at the end of the block. The owner very helpful and the breakfast was good. The individual heating units in the rooms worked well. The place was kept very clean. Uber was abundant and easy to get in the area. It was nice having cleaning service everyday, but the best part was the roof top terrace and view. Fantastic! The only two improvements would be to have the washing machine for renters to use. They would do laundry for you, but the price was high I thought, 11 euro a load. Also, although the breakfast was good, it would have been nice for us, staying six days, to…
We spent 4 nights in this great value B & B. The host and his staff were ultra helpful with extensive local knowledge. The breakfast was superb with freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious choices. The roof terrace gives some of the best views in Lisbon. If we return to the city we wouldn't stay anywhere else.
We have just returned from Lisbon with my wife and are already recovering the incredible view from TheHouse. We have spent two entire evenings and mornings watching the sinrise and sunset on the rooftop. Sure, the building itself does not look nice when you enter, but once you're upstairs it will pay off. Even the view out of the balcony was amazing! The breakfast isn't big but quite interesting, containing fresh fruit salads, varios meat slizes, fresh yogurts and so on. You can clearly see that the owner takes care about the place him self. That's the big difference between boring 4 and 5 star Hotels.
"We stayed in 'the boys room' very pretty, modern and spacious - bathroom separate but close by and private (not shared)"Read full review
