With a privileged location in Lisbon’s most exclusive area, The One Palacio da Anunciada is a new five-star hotel housed in an old 16th-century palace. Hotel's Favourite
Above all our expectations, is a good summary of what the four of us in the family have felt here from the first moment until departure. There is nothing to object to or demand, which can be said to be exceptional. Admittedly, the meaning of details is different for different people, but none of us have done anything but enjoy right through the entire stay. What is so good then? We start with the location, unbeatable on a street inside the large boulevard that goes down to the water. So central, but no disturbing sounds at all. An oasis in the middle of the city! In addition, the narrow Ruas das Portas de Santo Antao is very nice with lot's of restaurants. You are close to a number of sights worth seeing, such as the castle and the tram ride with the 28th. The hotel itself is beautiful in a discreet way, it exudes modern design in a preserved older building. The staff, each and every one, are worthy of great praise with their friendly, serviceminded manner that appeals. The rooms! Wonderful beds, wide and comfortable and very nice interior decor. The pool area is a pure pleasure as is the restaurant in the beautiful courtyard. The chef and his team receive a special praise for their good and beautifully laid out food. We have in fact chosen to stay at the hotel for a few nights and eat, it's so good! We can continue to praise everything with this hotel, and it is the whole that makes it so good. For what is a beautiful exterior if the interior and staff does not follow the same standard? We have fallen in love with Lisbon, and to a large extent it is of course the hotel's merit. If we come back soon? Already sitting and planning the next trip.

We absolutely loved the service at this hotel. We’ve stayed all around the world and we could not have been more please with the level of professionalism. Anything you needed was completely accessible through this hotel. If you are using VanGoTourism, they are impeccable with tours and transportation from this location. Both are highly recommended.

I went to the Wine Bar Garden at The One Palacio da Anunciada yesterday ( Tuesday, 13th of July ) shortly after 6 pm ( after work ) for a drink and a light snack / tapas but was denied the entry because I didn’t have a Covid test although the new portuguese regulations regarding the COVID pandemic state that a COVID test is required Only on weekends ( from Friday afternoon till Sunday at midnight) and ONLY for indoor restaurants , cafés & such. The Wine Bar is in a garden therefore is an OPEN space and for the outdoor spaces it is NOT required any COVID test ( not during the week, nor on the weekends ). I understand that in order to get to the wine bar garden tou must cross the Hotel halls but I would have worn a mask as I do in ALL indoor spaces as required by the regulations. I told them that is ridiculous and discriminating not to be allowed the entry . My workplace is on the opposite side of the town so I made all this way for nothing . They said that there is a pharmacy nearby where I can buy a test . Although I didn’t need a test as I explained that the new regulations only require a test on weekends and for the indoor spaces and it was not the case , I went to the pharmacy to buy the test as I wasted so much time to get there. But the pharmacy was closed ( they close at 6 pm ). So o went there for nothing. On my way home I called the Hotel and asked if the Wine Bar is open and what are the requirements to entrou a drink and a snack there. The person who answered told me that the Wine Bar is open and that there are no requirements because it’s Tuesday and only on weekends there are different requirements. Then I told him that I just walked away from there because the concierge wouldn’t let me in as I didn’t have a COVID test; he then said that he “ suddenly “ remembered that there are new regulations abd that what the concierge told me is true. I told him how the same thing I told the concierge: that the new requirements are for the indoor spaces and on Weekends- which was not the case in any of the situations. I felt really, really bad being discriminated and that a 5 star hotel does this to its potential clients. I wouldn’t recommend this place as it may happen to anyone and is not ok. I did nearly 30 km to get there, hardly found a place to park , paid the parking only to get there and be denied the entry. If it was according to the new Covid regulations I would have happily obey but is not the case. Please avoid this place, there are plenty other beautiful and client oriented hotels in Lisbon . By the way the street where hotel is is very difficult for walking.
