Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.

We’ve recently returned from 4 nights in the Lisboa Pessoa. We consider the hotel’s biggest asset to be their staff who were excellent, from the cleaning staff, those in the restaurant and, the piece de resistance, those on reception. We arrived at midday and fortunately our

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff was very friendly, rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable. The pool/spa was wonderful, with a heated pool, sauna and steam room. There is a restaurant on the top floor with view of the entire city that is unbeatable.

Hi there, if you buy the Yellow Bus hop on hop off ticket it includes the Aerobus in its price but this will take you to the Square close to the Pessoa for free but you will still have to negotiate the hill. Same if you take the Metro. If you have a wheelie case the best way is to take a taxi from the airport, of which there are many in waiting. The hotel will call one for you on your return. Its an easy process so just chill and enjoy gorgeous Lisbon. Top tip...only eat one nata a day or you will be buying new clothes !!!!
