There is no way I could give this less than a 5 for price compared to quality. We stayed 2 nights and it was clean, quiet, safe, and within minutes walking to the sanctuary - we couldn't have asked for anything more. Linens and towels are provided, and there is wifi included but we did have to go sit near the lobby to reach it. It was also no problem to keep our luggage in the room past checkout time, so we could just grab it when we were ready to leave in the afternoon. It's really a simple but lovely place.

Room #110 features a double bed and one single bed. This place is over a souvenir shop and simple, almost like a dormitory at college or a monk's cell. But what you get is a clean room, reasonable price, great location, and free parking In the sanctuary parking lot right next to the hotel. The ladies that manage and/or work here are also very kind and welcoming.

Great location literally inside sanctuary! It’s called “guest house” but it should be at least 4 stars hotel for room and customer service! It’s located above their souvenir shop so it’s a hidden gem! The room is very clean and spacious, bathroom had all necessary items! Lovely and very attentive staff who are always willing to help. I was travelling with two elderly aunts and we have received all the help and attention needed during our stay. They do not provide breakfast but there are many options nearby. Highly recommend and definitely returning! Thank you to all staff at Fatima GuestHouse!

The location can’t be bettered; as close to the sanctuary as it’s possible to get, surrounded by restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the bus depot.
The decor and furnishings are minimal, so there’s nowhere for dust and dirt to gather, and the room appeared clean.
The shower however was a different story. The sealant was black mouldy and the door fittings were full of gunk and grime. It’s been a long time since the shower was cleaned thoroughly. Really disgusting.

Great location - The owner Alda is extremely helpful and even give me a refund after I decided to leave Fatima early. My room, was clean and comfortable, well heated and spacious. I will definitely try to stay here again if and when I return to Fatima, and will also recommend it to my friends.

Exceptional hotel just off the Shrine, when I arrived there was a candle light procession which I join in, I could see the Shrine from my balcony, I could hear the music, it was a two minute walk to the Shrine. What a Holy place. Our Lady changed the world forever through the three shepard children. Hail Mary full of Grace the Lord is with thee, blessed are thou amoungst woman and blessed it the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Great price we got for 4 nights. The location was the best because it's literally a minute away from the Sanctuary (depends on how fast you walk of course). The whole Fatima area's quiet and safe. The hotel was really clean and the room we got was spacious. Since it's a guesthouse, there's no breakfast and no kitchen - just a shared small fridge and microwave oven for guests to use. But with the price, it was ok for us because of cafes and restaurants nearby which offered really good breakfast at low prices compared to Nordic. The room was cleaned everyday and we got clean towels that smelled really good and fresh (best so far than all other hotels we stayed at in Portugal and other countries we visited). The staff were really nice and friendly. The wifi connection was really good. The staff also worked in the souvenir shop next door so reception was sometimes unmanned, but help was still easy to get. Even though the reception's not open after midnight, there are phone numbers to contact to if needed.

Best points:
A minute away from Sanctuary.
Cleanliness.
Great staff.
Safe area.
Good price.

Need improvements:
Better access to elevator
Better kitchen area.
Soap/shampoo holder in shower room.
Water boiler with cups and coffee+tea+sugar packs in every room.

All in all, we still highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here next time. Thank you.

The guesthouse has a superb location - it is located just meters from the Sanctuary.

It is very cheap - just £30 for a night in a double room. Good value for money.

The staff is very friendly.

There are couple of cons... HOWEVER ..the accommodation is so cheap that I guess one shouldn't expect too much for this price!

Room smell strange (mould odour) but looked clean.

Quite tiny rooms, and tiny bathrooms.

Towels provided are tiny too.

No fridge in the room.

Again ... for £30 a night in august one should not expect much.

Great price, only 30 pounds a night for a 3 bed-room.

Great room. Extremely new. Lots of storage space. Bathroom was lovely. Place was immaculately clean. They even had a hair dryer. Aircon was working properly. Great room

Great staff. Very polite. They told us we could check out any time we wanted and not to worry about it when we asked them. What hospitality!

Great location. It's a 3 min walk to the sanctuary. It's surrounded by shops. And is about a 10 min walk to the station

Room for improvement : perhaps provide rooms with door tags that say 'Do not disturb' and 'please clean room' as at times the loud knock on the door did come as a shock and woke us up from our sleep.

Will definitely come back again if we're in Fatima

Great arrived at Fatima, free car parking 20 Mts.
Very clean, if rather white. Receptionist very pleasant and efficient in that Portuguese way. Free internet wifi. Flatscreen TV, nice quiet location just of the Main Street.
My room with a balcony and view toward the Church.
The hotel was perfectly situated just 5 minutes walk to the sanctuary of Fatimaalso a great shop next door where I got myself a new hat and they let me use their phone, no problem....And...
To top things of it was a beautiful sunny winters day.
