#10 of 28 hotels in Faro
With features of Urban Chic, and inserted in the pedestrian area of downtown Faro but without the urban noise of the cities, 3HB Faro aims to complete the prosperity of the city of Faro, with its rooms and suites, lobby bar and two restaurants – a gourmet in the rooftop and another inspired by Italian cuisine with a more relaxed atmosphere and direct entrance through the pedestrian area of the noble commercial street of Faro. There is also a rooftop bar with stunning views of the outdoor infinity pool that overlooks the city and the Ria Formosa nature park. Design and interior decoration by Paulo Lobo, who over the years continues to amaze with his touch of magic – namely in the lighting and in the choice and beauty of the materials used. The hotel also has meeting rooms and a SPA with indoor pool, sauna, turkish bath, sensory showers, treatment rooms and gym. Situated less than 15 minutes from Faro International Airport, enjoys a privileged location to explore the Algarve and its multiple experiences! Golf courses, the beauty and diversity of the Algarve beaches, the cities full of history and culture. And many other secrets waiting to be unraveled.

I rarely write reviews however felt compelled to do so following our experience at this hotel. It was the first time I had visited the Algarve and was blown away by the hotel from the first moments until our last day. The rooms are immaculate and kitted out with technology, the pool area on the rooftop is stunning and the pool itself is so nice. The breakfast included was exceptional with food cooked to order as well as available via the buffet. The spa area and indoor pool were also fantastic and a great option when the weather is not ideal. The staff were as efficient as they were polite and accommodating, especially the concierge (Helman) who on arrival pulled out a map and recommended multiple locations to visit, a place to park for free and took the time to explain how the array of equipment in the room worked! At the end of our trip, they took the time to print out our covid documents for our return trip and let us use the facilities (including shower/changing) as we were flying back late that day. The hotel is brand new yet does not show any signs of teething problems, and we cannot wait to return! Thank you to all the staff, you made an amazing experience for us both.

We stayed at 3HB Faro for a week at the start of September and loved every moment of our stay! Even before we arrived staff communications were friendly and helpful and the concierge (sadly we forgot to ask her name!) was particularly helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Our room was large and impeccably clean with good bathroom, large screen TV, lovely Molton Brown toiletries and a handy safe and fridge. We had asked for a room on the top floor with a city view and this is exactly what we were given - plus when the hotel found out we were travelling for a special occasion they provided complimentary wine and fruits which was a lovely touch. The facilities are also outstanding - we used both the indoor and outdoor pools daily and they never felt busy (although I can imagine they could do if the hotel was full). We also ate at the ground floor Italian restaurant twice and can definitely recommend the pizzas (and cocktails!). The breakfast was fantastic with a packed buffet of cold and hot meat, cheese, veg, pastries, yoghurt, fruit and even a fresh honeycomb, plus a good range of hot dishes that were made to order. I’m vegetarian and was spoilt for choice with the options! The only slight suggestions for improvement we had were that none of the balconies have a table which would have been very handy when having a drink out there. Also the addition of a Marshall speaker in every room may seem like a nice touch but - as we found out when the people in the room next to ours blasted theirs for a day, the only people likely to use this addition are also likely to be those who ignore the request to keep the volume low! It would probably be best to remove these or they could become a sound issue for some guests. These are quibbles though and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of 3HB. The location is perfect - in the centre of Faro but quiet and peaceful. We’d definitely be happy to stay here again in a heartbeat.

I had such an amazing stay here. Such a nice and luxurious hotel. The Guest Relations Manager (not sure of her name I do apologise) she went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend this hotel and I also recommend some of the local restaurants, especially the Pigs & Cows.

Just for transparency we were kindly offered a free upgrade and late checkout by 3HB Faro. 3HB Faro definitely delivers a 5 star experience. Nestled conveniently in Faro town centre with reach of the Old Town, the brand-new hotel offers sleek luxury with modern rooms, a fantastic rooftop with pool and spa. My room was spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds and a gorgeous bathroom. The room has the ability to have just some ambient lighting on, which helped to set a relaxed mood in the morning and at night. The shower was fantastic, with a rainfall head, nice smelling shower products, a ‘drainless’ shower floor, and a door which allowed easy access to towels when finished. All small touches that really make a difference. I also want to take this moment to point out the attention to detail of the cleaning staff. I came back to realise they had covered an unfinished drink with a coaster, lined up our shoes, and placed our bottles in the mini fridge. They clearly care, and don’t just see room service as something to get out of the way! The spa is fantastic for being included in the room price. At some hotels this is a paid extra. The sauna was good, and so was the pool with a variety of showers and jacuzzi options to play around with. The only slight disappointment was the steam room, which unfortunately just didn’t get steamy/misty/foggy as one would hope, but this can be overlooked as it was only just fixed and is probably going to be calibrated. The rooftop is fantastic, its where you have breakfast and is a great place to start your day in the sunshine, the loungers are great and the pool overlooks Faro. I would highly recommend 3HB Faro. The staff are brilliant, and I can’t wait to visit the rest of their concept hotels once they open.
