Regarding the hotel position 10 out of 10 Room with both pool and Sea view Snack bar a life saver especially Vera and the fantastic lady who cooked Hot food. Alex the entertainment team was also fantastic making men laugh all through our 10 night stay. Alex in my opinion should go a long way in the future We were all inclusive and the only complaint we have from day one was the Restaurant. If you put cold food on cold plates it's all Cold. I complained to the manager and was told that no one else had complained which was a total lie. The hotel and staff were fantastic but as for the directors a total waste of time. We went out to eat for the last 5 nights of stay. The restaurant in the area were fantastic with Hot food and very tasty. All in all we enjoyed our time in Portugal but the food was a complete disaster in the hotel. If it wasn't for the likes of Alex and Vera and team plus of course Cara the lady who took care of the clensyness of the pool area. I have never seen anybody work so hard. We would go back again but only if they garenteed HOT food. This is something that TUI should look into as we no one visit us from TUI due to Covid19 but Jet2 had reps plus a Dutch tour operator. So why not TUI. Poor service from the TUI team based in Portugal.

Staff efficient, friendly and the hotel is clean with hand gel in many places also the wearing of face masks by all staff. In view of covid all people staying or visiting hotel must wear face masks within the hotel. When dining, once you are seated you can take the mask off, each time you get up from your table you must replace your mask. The hotel is still doing a buffet service with a difference. Basically salads are made up in a small bowl for one person, also other bowls of meat/cheese/fish starters for one person that you help yourself to. All other food is served to you by the staff who are wearing gloves. No sooner once you have finished eating your table and chairs are sprayed with a bacterial spray. You can eat breakfast and lunch outside of the restaurant in the evenings you can only eat inside the restaurant. Probably not a wide selection of food on offer but always found something we liked and found the food really good. The pool area is kept nice and clean, once you pack up and leave your sunbed its is sprayed clean. In the evenings and throughout the day due to covid I am guessing there is no entertainment just pre recorded music playing. We found the bedroom clean and comfortable. Outside in the grounds of the hotel there is no need to wear a mask unless of course you want to get a drink from the bar. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and also the local shops/restaurants are about 10 mins away. We would recommend this hotel and must make a special mention to Paula in the restaurant for looking after us and re filling the wine. Also the same to Jorge in the restaurant/Bar. Such lovely warm and friendly people.

We have just come back from a week's holiday at Vila Gale Nautico. Things are very different now due to Coronavirus, but the hotel was very clean, hand santiser available when accessing the lift, restaurant and snack bar. Sunbeds were santised after use, also the tables, chairs. Face masks were worn by all staff. Guests had to wear them around the hotel and in the restaurant, snack bar, lift etc. Large swimming pool, (although cold and deep) plenty of sunbeds. Towels were avalable for use by pool, but we had packed our own so used those instead. We have a lovely room on the 5th floor. Balcony wasn't very private as no screening at the side. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was the only let down. Breakfast was fine, although no cereals and couldn't tell from the open pots what was Jam or Marmalade. There wasn't great deal of choice for main meals unless you love fish or steak. We were all inclusive but eat out a few nights because of this. Meal times were staggered and we had to make a choice of what time we wanted to eat when we arrived at the hotel. We had to queue for food which sometimes was a bit slow. The snackbar was very good. The drinks were good, epecially the Pina Coladas! There was no entertainment, I suspect because of Covid. All in all we had a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel.

I didn’t actually stay at this hotel but at a villa on the same road. Such a great location... However I popped into the hotel to book a massage in the health club (not a plush 4 star hotel spa as I expected - more a massage room off the indoor pool area, with the very helpful main reception desk making the booking for me). However, my massage was SUPERB! And the massage room itself is beautiful with a comfortable large massage table. In fact, the massage was that good that others in my villa booked with Tania, the masseur, too with one of us booking two massages on consecutive days! Tania is an asset to your establishment - do not lose her! Hotel massages can be ‘hit and miss’ and yes, the massages here are not cheap (there was some August special offers which were better value) but worth every euro. She had magic (and very strong hands!). Highly recommend Tania. Thank you so much for a wonderful massage (or two, three...!).

This was our first time in Portugal and what an amazing time we had. The Hotel was lovely the staff were all lovely and they couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant did breakfast, lunch and evening meals which were all very nice. I'm usually fussy with food but couldn't fault it here. They have a snack bar serving food from 10am to 6pm which is situated by the out door pool area. The room we had was a double room and very nice, the lighting in the room was dimmed lighting but we didnt find that a problem. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
