I stay here three time per year as it’s close to my company’s field research facilities. It’s got GREAT local food, it’s cheap and it’s clean and comfortable. I don’t understand why people have rated it so low. What would you expect from a 35 Euro per night roadside hotel? Luxury 4 start facilities? Beds are clean. Bathrooms too. Never seen even mould. Great view of a field from the balcony. I always stay here. I wouldn’t stay farther away and pay more. It’s just enough for what I need.

The hotel is well located for sight seeing in the area.Unfortunately the hotel itself is in need of a lot of repair and with a bit of effort it could be a very nice hotel as I am sure it once was as it has the space and the views are good. No chairs on the balcony which is a shame as it would have been nice to sit and enjoy the evening sun. To finish on a good note the food in the restaurant was very good.

Setting: Lovely setting on the outskirts of Estremoz convenient for all routes Hotel: The hotel is in its own grounds and has a lovely view towards the countryside. The hotel has huge potential to be more than what the review is going to give it. The hotel needs an upgrade and could be great. The bedroom was basic with furniture that needs to be modernised. There was no chair to sit in for reading and no chairs on the balcony to enjoy the views. There was a minibar and a charge of 5 euros for a safe. One pillow per person was supplied as standard. The bathroom tiles in the room we were in need to be replaced. There is an indoor garage for which there is a charge and there is plenty free public parking. There is free WIFI, public phones, bar and restaurant. There was no book about the hotel or Estremoz however the staff did provide a map. There is no swimming pool. Staff: The staff were very helpful and unobrtrusive. Restaurant: Dinner was excellent- food was reasonably priced and served by a pleasant staff member.

The hotel is very easy to find. The food at the restaurant was very good and tasty. But: Warn down buildings, in and out. No chairs in the room or on the balcony. We had to pick two chairs up at the reception but were not supposed to use them on the balcony! Hard beds, dirty carpets, dirty bathroom. Unpleasant and unhelpful staff. Uncharming restaurant. We even had to argue with the waiter about the noisy TV: We were only two foreign couples at the restaurant and didn't want to watch loud Portugese "soap" but the waiter insisted! Absolutely uncharming surroundings. But all this might have improved....

We were pleasantly suprised after reading the reviews to be staying in such a nice hotel. The room was large comfortable and clean with a balcony overlooking a vineyard. It is a little distance out of the town, we found the walk in and back very pleasant. The town itself is very picturesque and regal well worth spending time exploring. We will use this Hotel again
