Our one night stay at El Shadia was exactly what we needed, especially as a storm had hit the area and we were stranded. Our hosts, Susan & Pieter were great. Informative, friendly, and helpful. Yet, not at all intrusive. The ambiance at El Shadia was most comfortable. Really a wonderful “home from home” experience! The covered parking was well lit and secure. Something less to worry about! Our room was well designed and provided a most comfortable, quiet and relaxing stay. The “Welcoming Basket” was full of delicious goodies and the coffee/tea facility was also most welcome. Our room had a drinks/snacks fridge which was most handy for water/beer later that evening. We had access to a balcony with seating overlooking the beautiful Hartbeespoort Dam and experienced a great…

Beautiful spacious room with all its comforts. The view from the balcony is never tiring as there is a different view according to the seasons! We were served breakfast with all its trimmings. It was the most wonderful experience.
