We had a lovely stay. Pumleni is conveniently located, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the breakfast was excellent and we had a warm welcome from Henry. We wanted to stay longer, there's more to do in the area than we realised. Cableway is a must!

Henry runs a small but modern guesthouse and despite a few issues out of his control he was more than accomodating assisting us. The rooms are sizable enough and have all amenities.

Breakfast was great and for the price is most definitely worth staying in if visiting Hartebespoort or the Cradle of Humankind area.

We booked a 4 night stay at Pumleni, but only stayed 2. Breakfast was truly average, you can hear what everyone else is doing in their rooms. Henry the manager was amazing, what a gentleman, which is why we stayed for two nights, instead of leaving after the first. It is not a quick holiday friendly destination.

The bedrooms are very nice and comfortable but the Manager who received us is very Rude he needs to learn how to speak to people . As soon as we got out of the car he asked us " What do you want ? we don't have rooms" that is not the way you talk to guests that have booked months in advanced. They could definitely do better with their breakfast as well Wimpy breakfast is way better.

The rooms are neat and clean with everything required at hand. The TV is a bit small and very far from the bed. The floors are clean but cold. Floor finishing can be improved! Other guests staying over had a braai and their noise kept us awake, fortunately not too late. The staff is friendly and helpfull.

We recently stayed at Pumleni and we really enjoyed it. This place is nice and very homely. Great service from Henry and also we enjoyed the breakfasts. I would recommend it to all friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay even that we did not get the superior room. Therefore we got a message a few days in advance, which was nice. The room was cosy and clean and we had the car directly on the proberty for free. In the room you have the chance to prepare a meal or use one of the order prospects. The cold & hot breakfast was included, freshly prepared and really good. Thanks for a nice stay, we would come again.

Room comfortable, great off street safe parking, good security. Reception adequate but as we arrived at reception one of the staff was sitting on the couch outside shoes off and feet up. Breakfast was ok plain eggs, bacon mushrooms and tamato. Also there was no WiFi as advertised. Another negative was the street traffic noise early in the morning, bikes galore as is harties wherever you stay! Overall our stay was good and would stay again.

Pumleni Guesthouse is the perfect place for all. Reception (we were warmly welcomed). The place is clean and safe, white linen all the way, rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, most of all Management and Staff are very friendly, they make you feel at home. I definitely will be booking there for my next visit to the North West. Lucy Dlamini

firstly we went to Jacuzzi, but the Jacuzzi was not working. 2nd- I paid extra for the room to be decorated, a better job could have been done-there were no candles, white roses instead of red even though this was previously arranged with the manager. I booked for massages, but had to be re-booked when I got there and luckily still got it.
