Really very spacious rooms and Bathrooms, the bathrooms especially beautiful. Everything you will need is onhand. Beautiful views of Hartbeespoortdam.
Relaxed and peaceful.

We had to leave the following morning at 04:30 to participate in the Om die Dam Marathon, the Butler suprised us with early morning Coffee and Breakfast. This was really wonderful, thank you so much.
Fast and efficient WiFi

This is such a great hotel. I heavily researched hotels in the area and based on reviews decided on this hotel. What a great choice! The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated. The room is very large and comfortable with a spectacular view.

But what really made this place stand out and even better was the staff. The manager Melissa is a gem, and very caring and kind. She helped me in ways I can’t even describe and went above and beyond her duties. She was also very responsive and helpful in arranging transportation to and from the Johannesburg airport. I hope management sees this review and is aware of what a stellar employee they have in Melissa.

The other staff is great too. I ate a couple of meals there and the chef Patrick is such a great cook. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options. Again, all the staff were so friendly and helpful.

I arranged transport with Melissa to have an Uber to take me to and from the Johannesburg airpot. The Uber driver was awesome and also went above and beyond and helped me out. His kindness and graciousness also won’t ever be forgotten.

There’s a good restaurant a 5 minute walk from there which was was convenient.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. It was a real treat and everything was of the highest quality. The view from the room of the dam was fantastic. The room and bathroom were amazing. Breakfast was wonderful and we would like to return one day.

If you have a room above you, good luck sleeping. The thumping/creaking of wooden flooring is annoying. They promise to return with basics missing in the room and they don't. Their DSTV is on a basic package so you have to tinker forever to find something to watch. Lights not working in the room either.

It's utter BS to have to complain about everything, they need to create a checklist to make sure the basics work.

A group of friends and I just escaped to Stirling for a "ladies night out". What a find!!!!!!! Yolandi was a dream to work with and catered to our every need. We sat in Suite #6, sipping champagne and watch the sun set over the dam!! What a view. Breakfast was expansive and fulfilling;the coffee delicious. I am looking foward to return visit with my husband.

I live in the Pretoria area and myself and some friends just wanted to get away for a night and celebrate friendship of one of our friends that was going away.- the staff was extremely accommodating and the place was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the Hartbeespoort Dam's harbor. the hotel sits up high on a ridge so that you are able to sit on any of the balconies and relax. Wish I had known about this place earlier!

So how's this for someone in the service industry with poor communication skills. I call on Saturday to enquire about a possible reservation at their establishment. I call because I might need a taxi to shuttle between their guesthouse and the venue of the event I'm attending in the area.

I call and say to the lady, we looking for a place for the weekend of the 14th, we have a 50th... Before I could even complete my sentence she informs me that they don't do those kinds of things and they are fully booked that Saturday. Oh, we were hoping to find something for the weekend I say. No we can't help you, look at other venues, there are plenty of other places around I'm sure you will find something. Okay, so without listening to what I was looking for, without hearing my entire story, she was able to draw conclusions about what I wanted, and offered me what she thought I needed. I checked on their website, they had a family suite open from Friday that very weekend until Sunday. All I needed to verify before booking was whether they would have a taxi or shuttle we could hire from their guest house to the venue where the event was being organized and then I would have happily booked the room, which was available in any case.

For a company in the service industry, it's disappointing when one deals with people who fail misaribly at the very thing they need to be good at. Fail for not being able to be patient and to listen. Interrupting and assuming to know what your prospective guest wants means you will lose clients whose first experience of a place is the person on the other end.

Astonishment is the keyword to this ABSOLUTE GEM so close to a lot of beautiful places that can be visited.

The interior decorating is so excellently executed, now wonder Top Billing was there!

Lourette the Hotelier and her team are the perfection of excellence from the moment you park your vehicle and the porter is there to greet you and help you into the golf-car that takes you to the friendly receptionist waiting at the entrance of this beautiful 5 star Boutique Hotel.

I want to congratulate you on being the best of the best of the best Lourette!! She is also the chef that prepares the most interesting, tasty and HEALTHY food!! You have outdone yourself and I will be confident and so proud to refer people to your beautiful, serene Hotel where privacy is guaranteed because of the many private little corners!! The 180 degree view of the Hartbeespoort Dam is just awesome!!!!

See you soon!!! Marisa Briel

My husband and I had a wedding to attend and decided to find somewhere to stay for the night. I found Stirling Manor, took one look at their website and decided this was the spot. What a great choice it was. The decor is gorgeous, the room we stayed in was perfect with the most stunning view of the dam and the boats. The breakfast was just to die for and the service was brilliant. We spent some time chatting with the owner and with out a doubt will be making another trip out to Stirling Manor only next time it will be for a minimum of 2 nights so that we can fully experience the beauty and tranquility that IS Stirling Manor.

The guesthouse is in a great location with lovely views of the dam. It is about 4 kms drive to the various malls on the east side of the dam where you can shop/eat at Nando's, Mugg and Bean and Spar. Very close is a steakhouse which is handy in the evening. The rooms are lovely with big beds and satellite tv. Ours also had a wonderful view of the dam. There is a massage chair in the living room which is worth trying - and a huge tv. Above all the hospitality is amazing and we felt very well looked after. It was truly special. Only regret is that we wished we had stayed longer - the place is so relaxing that we felt we had been on holiday for 3 weeks by the time we left. NB the breakfast is amazing as much of it is home baked (including the bread and the muffins).
