During loadshedding it would be handy to have solar lights available for the dark. The beds could do with upgraded mattress. Maybe the manager could try sleeping on it? Gas cylinder for coffee. Or the option of getting a thermos flask with hot water from the Reception Reception staff excellent. Lovely hot shower though
The "disabled" chalet is very suitable for someone in a wheelchair.. It is also in the best position as it is very close to the river and abundant bird life plus the mooring for the boat for wonderful evening cruises on the tidal upper estuary. All the Hotel staff were charming and extremely helpful in every respect. If there was a little problem they came immediately to fix it. They even carried our disabled son onto and off the boat.
We had a wonderful time over the weekend in the Chalets. The staff are super friendly and very helpful to advise you on any questions you may have of the area. The chalet was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great weekend. The shop and bottle store is right opposite the venue if you need to buy anything that you forgot. We also ate at the Hotel where they serve very good food. Excellent quick getaway in serene and peaceful environment. We will be back
Staff very friendly. Clean rooms. The breakfast is absolutely worth it. We enjoyed our time here. We had a river view but no balcony - which is what was promised. Would have been lovely to enjoy sundowners on the deck. Great fishing location . We we spoiled with views. Will definitely be back.
I love the setting beautifully placed on the west coast. Staff and service was amazing. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday. BIG thank you to Rick the manager. Yaseen-Chairman Kaapjag-Sentraal tak
