Detailed Reviews
This was my first stay at a Moxy brand hotel. Lobby, entrance, and first décor was very hip and vibrant! Check in was seamless after a few minutes. Was using points for the stay and this initially presented some delay; nonetheless we were lucky to have a room ready for an early morning check-in. Front desk associated tried to find the best view room based upon our check in time, which was pleasing. Room requested was two twin beds. Room was clean and appointments were standard. Minimal storage as there are no closets. Wire racks used for most hangings but did have room for heavy winter coats as we were traveling in December. Room was standard for most European mid-tier hotels but if you have more than a couple of bags each, you'll be strapped for some space. For me, I'm not spending much time in the room, so was not an issue. Shower and toilet area clean, great mirror and nice hot water pressure. Hotel is located in a well populated area, along Avenue Louise, with many shops, small grocery stores and restaurants. Bus 71 travels frequently and we used this route for everyday travel to Brussels Central station. Bus ride is only about 15 minutes. Bus is often very full, especially during peak rush hour times. Hotel has restaurant, bar and daily breakfast. We didn't use any of these offerings as there are several places for quick bites within walking distance. Great area to explore and was decorated nicely for the holiday season. During our stay, most shops closed after7pm so keep that in mind if coming back late. Most restaurants were still available and several great places to dine just blocks away. For airport travelers needing an early flight, you'll have to secure a taxi or maybe uber as the Central station did not have a direct train before 9am. Only slight negative, hotel front desk arranged a 7am taxi service and stated driver accepted credit/debit cards. We did ride share with another couple as they had the same early flight transportation issue. Driver charged us 55euro vs the 50euros stated by hotel employee and didn't except card payments. Other than that, was a great stay and will definitely book location on my next visit to Brussels.

Absolutely loved my three day stay at the Moxy Brussels City Center! Everything from the welcome cocktail & assistance with my bags upon arrival to check-out was just delightful. I found every member of the crew assistive, engaging, and able to address my requests with willingness & competence. The bed was so comfortable $ with the shades drawn, it was pitch black, just as I like it, and there was no noise to awaken me. Highly recommend this cheeky, in a good way, hotel.

We stayed at the hotel during its first weekend after opening. Check in went smoothly and because of the recent opening we were offered a welcome drink. Great start; server came over for a friendly chat. Genuine girl caring for the success of this new hotel.
The elevators have funny messages written all over them and shows you this is not a ‘traditional’ hotel. This seems to be the Moxy experience; you love it or you hate it.
The rooms are brand new; very nicely decorated with convenience in mind while designing; not too large; but big enough to stay comfortably with 2.
A smart tv and sensored night lights show you what older hotels are missing :) - the bed was a little bit too hard for me; but that is personal preference.
Breakfast was served due to COVID-19. It could not have been better. All products were of higher quality then I am used to in hotels in the same price category. Great selection!
Check out was ok; but too loud music in the morning makes it hard to ask questions and understand the answers... I would suggest to turn it down a bit; some people might have a hangover on Sunday mornings ;)

This hotel is only about two years old, and is within walking distance of the city center, the train, shopping, and restaurants. It's on a lively street, but the windows are soundproof, which was a plus. I loved the layout and design of the common areas and the room was the perfect size for me. Everything was clean, and the staff were really, really nice and accommodating. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

It is a hotel, but I called it my second home. I spent time in this hotel after pandemic. Because I went back to Belgium for visiting my old universities.
If this message can convey to the manager and staffs at the hotel. Pls convey my greetings to them.
The stay of the hotel was great. During the pandemic time, i went to the food bar, and then take food in tray, and bring to the table.
New experience. But i think it is good. Even after pandemic, in the future, I think that being hygienic will be accepted as the new world standard.
Manager also took care the guests very well too.
Room is in modern style. With 1 bus stop, you can reach Port Namuur station.
I will return to stay in this hotel in the future.
Best regards,
Dr. Vorravee Pattaravongvisut

I stayed here for 10 nights in the family/accessible room as a wheelchair user.
When we first got in the room it was set up in a way that wasn’t accessible but a quick rejig of the furniture and it was fantastic. The bathroom is probably the best wet room/accessible bathroom I’ve stayed in anywhere. I wish the bedroom had some storage like a cupboard, draw or wardrobe but that’s the Moxy way.
The hotel itself had a lovely atmosphere and staff on reception were really nice. On our last night we had dinner at the bar and wish we had discovered the bar menu sooner! The details like games to play were a nice touch and just added to the very relaxed atmosphere.
The location was good, walkable distance to lots of things and we were able to get the metro to other places like Bruges. It’s on a high street so convenient for shops. We got a taxi from the Eurostar for around €15. We were out late one night and there were quite a lot of people on drugs or who were very unwell, it made us prefer to be in before it got too late. It was nothing major like the train station area but it was our preference not to be out late. I know it happens in a lot of cities, although we are used to walking home in central London at a similar time without feeling that way.
A few days after I checked out I received a bill for the restaurant which I didn’t eat in. When I emailed they even provided a receipt for this meal they believed I had. Thankfully they looked into this and refunded it. Make sure you check your card after you leave. I’m thankful they looked into the issue and resolved it.
If I go back to Brussels I would stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

The location is to the east of the city, a 5 min walk to the nearest Metro or about 15-20 mins to the Grand Place. It is a trendy, modern style of hotel with a bar near reception, which gets noisy on some evenings.
The rooms are not as well equipped as I hoped - no fridge, no kettle nor safe. There is also no cupboards or wardrobe to speak of, just a few hangers on a short runner. Thus you get a rather basic room though the bed is comfortable and the bathroom okay.
The staff were helpful and friendly and this made the stay a bit better. I’d recommend it if you don’t need much room amenities though it is a bit disappointing for the price.

Highly overrated place, with confused staff with hardly any experience. Probably it’s more like a youth hostel that charges 200 euros a night for a tiny room, flush that doesn’t work, rooms so tiny that you do not have space for storage, the name misleading as it’s off center.
Absolutely not worth the money spent.
I booked this place through Marriott points, so it was kind of ok.
As a Gold elite member, when I booked, I was assured of a room upgrade, welcome gift…none of which was honoured.
Only thing that was offered was a late check out, which I didn’t need.
The staff should be sent to Marriott properties in Asia for training, coz for the money you pay, you expect some basic courtesy and service.
All the service and facilities are being brushed under the carpet on the premise of being a ‘cool’ hotel.
Nothing cool bout this place. Experience it to believe my words.

We found the hotel to be extremely clean. Our room was ready upon our morning check in which was a huge upside and much appreciated. The room itself is very small. There is no closet, no fridge, no safe, and toiletries are limited (no lotion). Curtains are true black out which was nice. Two people can fit cozy for a night or two but there is no practical place to put the luggage except the floor and you end up tripping over it trying to walk around the bed to the restroom. The hotel never advertised that the rooms are large, so this wasn’t unexpected just something to note.
The location is great and within walking distance of many restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Marriott platinum and received $10pp per day food and beverage credit (breakfast not included but can put the credit toward the breakfast charge).

+1
Fantastic hotel in a great location of Brussels city centre. Lots of amenities nearby and within easy walking distance and ample cafes and clothes shops too.
The hotel decor is lovely and the room was very clean. Staff are amazing and very friendly/helpful, able to assist and converse in multiple languages.
There’s a restaurant on site with a bar and also a smaller lounge bar where you can get finger food and burgers. Additionally, there’s a gym on site in the basement of the hotel and plenty books to read in the lounge with lots of cool wall art.
This trip was booked for my husband’s birthday and the bar staff made sure he enjoyed his day and brought out a complimentary dessert and beer for him following his burger meal.
Would definitely stay here again as the location makes it a good base for all modes of transport- metro station is a 5 min walk and multiple bus stops are nearby too.
Shout out to Julia for making sure our last night was very enjoyable and putting up with my terrible French.
