Neighbourhood
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

I chose this hotel for a city break with my friends last weekend and I was extremely happy with my choice. What caught my eye first is the beautiful architecture, the building has a lot of history and is definitely one of the most remarkable buildings I've ever seen.!!! My room

We were very delighted to have breakfast at this amazing and very interesting hotel! It’s an old conservatorium turned into a hotel. Thanks to the great host Colette who was very friendly and kind. We’ll definitely come back.

To be honest it’s a nice hotel but the staff are very rude to the extent one of them closed on my face and the manager wasn’t even around. If I was you guys cancel your booking and find a other hotel. I have been traveling all over never in my 28 years have I seen a hotel close

How do I begin to describe this hotel? It’s absolute perfection...it truly is.❤️ My colleagues and I came into the hotel in desperate need of shelter from the cold & pouring rain. We were all tired and hungry, not to mention, completely soaked and in desperate need for a coffee

Do you need to dress up for dinner and drinks at the hotel on a week day evening?
No you do not, but I would not go down in shorts and flip flops

How many rooms are there in total? Which floor would they be on?
The hotel has eight floors. Many rooms have two floors, with stairs to a loft floor. You should carefully choose your type of room directly from Conservatorium The hotel is fabulous, and the people are wonderful. The spa and pool good too. (We've stayed there many times in recent years and will be back twice in 2018.)
