Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Good location for getting to many of Amsterdam's sites on foot if you wish. Well appointed comfortable room. Was in half basement room but experienced no noise issues. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast selection too.

I stayed at the Mercure Amsterdam Centre Canal District Hotel with a friend for two nights as part of our holiday. The location was ideal with a metro and tram station within a 5 minute walk of the hotel making transport to and from the airport and many key locations in

Visited as a group of 5. 2 were in the main hotel and 3 were in the outhouse part. The outhouse had the benefit of 2bedrooms. The only issue was it was ground level so in night would get people chatting, cars or people with luggage sounding like they were right next to you in

I had a pleasant trip - The hotel is well located in the attractive canal-side area - neither right in the centre nor too far out to be convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was fine and the food was good. My only reservation is that there was a rather

Mercure Amsterdam Centre Canal District. is an ideal hotel for two reasons. It is a short 10 minute walk to the major museums. It is a two minute walk to theh metro station that gets you wherever you want to go in Amsterdam. On top of that staff are professional and friendly.

The train is very easy to use and by far the cheapest option. There is plenty of space for luggage. The hotel is not close to the main station, so you may want to think about getting a taxi from there. We walked, but we only had overnight bags, so it wasn't a problem.

Can you please let me know the cost and details for parking?
I am unsure if the hotel has on site parking due to the location and layout of the hotel. I would suggest parking outside of the city and using public transport. Parking outside of the city will be cheaper.
