My stay at the lodge was disappointing. The location is convenient. The facilities look great but unfortunately, a number of things left me disappointed. The airconditioner dripped in the room. The wifi was only limited to the reception and the room I was booked into had only one bed instead of the two that I had booked. The staff tried to be friendly but my complaining may have soured their mood towards me a little bit. I think there's room for much improvement. If you are looking for a place to put your head down, then this would be good but if you are looking for a memorable experience, then maybe look elsewhere.

Please issue 2 bottles of water if a unit is booked for 2 and sleeps 2 people. I booked for 2 in a 2 sleeper unit, we arrived to 1 bottle of water...500ml is not even enough for sharing. The water addition is great, it must just make sense

This place is so awesome and beautiful, the breakfast and the setting up is epic my kids got swim in their clean pool. At the reception Siyabonga Mdlalose was so friendly he even accompanied us to our room. Zama Zulu our waitress was looking after us so well we had the time of our life.

Decor was nice inside the room, however ...

Limited parking space is an issue.
The showerhead was a bathtub sprayer mounted to the wall.
Breakfast has little variety (Kellogs corn flakes, 2x eggs, 3x bacon rashers, 2x mini 2cm sausages and toast)
Aircon didn't function properly.
Terrible TV channels to choose from.
Low quality beds.

I booked the 17th and 18th at the 'hutten heights lodge'
June 2022.
It was the worst experience at lodge yet.
The first night they made noise in the lounge area until 21:30 where one could not get any sleep before then. We found a strangers earring in the made-up bed. This is already winter and no winter bedding are on beds.
I booked for 2 people to share there were not even enough towels. The next morning at 7:30 there was no hot water for one person to shower. Had to finish in cold shower (note it's winter).
I went to reception to tell staff on duty we are very dissatisfied with service. The person just referred me to
'iLawuHospitalityGroup' on his part he can't do anything sorry.
I called the person at 'iLawuHospitalityGroup' on 18th June 2022 at 10:18
and ales explain everything they said they will come back to me as soon as possible. It is already 4 days and nothing yet.
Worst stay ever!!!!!!

Hutten Heights exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was fresh and there was plenty of food. I do wish they'd be a bit quick with dinner when one has ordered it. The rooms were quite comfortable and very functional.

Pleasant and helpful reception with efficient sign in. Great breakfast served in the room at exact time requested.
Unfortunately not value for money as, while the room was clean with all necessities, it was small/cramped with no natural lighting and/or ventilation (no windows). The curtain rod over the door had also collapsed on the one side letting in outside light during the night. The latter, together with a noisy guest banging his car door and talking loudly on his cell phone at 2am meant it was not a pleasant evening..

I thing my title says it all. The place has so much potential but the cleaning management is beyond terrible. The showers don't get cleaned properly. They have black mould, floating particles and I even saw human phlem on the shower wall. If you don't mind dirty showers you will be fine. If you are like me and can't stand filth... It will ruin the whole stay and you won't be able to eat
