The venue is Safe, Secure, well run, clean and tidy. The amenities were great and well managed and presented. The Service was excellent and the breakfast was very good. Variety. An upmarket restaurant is less than 100m away.

Very unassuming, as compared with the nearer establishment. Comfortable and peacefully located. Good breakfast from their kitchen and friendly staff. Ideal as a midpoint between North and costal cities or visiting midlands and battlefields

We visited Aberdeen House in a quick stay over and were allocated to the Flora MacDonald cottage which was a quaint self-catering unit. What a gem! It was totally equipped to accommodate 4 guests very comfortably with all the "home away from home" and more, amenities. The free Wi-fi kept one of our teenage sons busy and the bathroom was very spacious. Our hosts, Colin & Lynn were so gracious and helpful and the breakfast (which we didn't know was included in the rate) was more then adequate. We will definitely use this B&B should we visit the area again.

We stayed for 1 night at Aberdeen house in the Mcintosh room, the grounds and room are very nice and well kept, we felt welcome and everything was 100%, the rooms are comfortable and the owner helpful, the breakfast was very good as well, initially the communication via e-mail was not great and we had to ask if our booking was confirmed as we never receive a confirmation but once that was sorted everything else was great

perfect spot for a cosy hide-away. Nice pool and garden for the kids, extremely friendly and welcoming hosts! And the food is delicious. We loved everything about this place, the kids had a great time. We had the family room complete with kitchenette, pull-out couch for the kids to sleep on. Full bath with shower and bath-tub. We'd come back in a heartbeat if we come back to South Africa!
