My family and I were thrilled with our stay at Majuba Lodge. From the comfortable rooms, to the beautiful gardens, the delicious meals and the phenomenal staff, Majuba Lodge is like a home away from home. We love its central location to popular stores and restaurants. The mall is situated next door to the Lodge. During our entire stay we felt safe and satisfied. A special thanks to Mandy, Blaine and Gayle for the wonderful stay.

I have to visit Newcastle about once per 6 weeks and stay here because it very central. The rooms are huge with beds for africa. Car port for one car and close to a good pub and eatery. Breakfast good and for most tastes. Will return.

The place is clean and the staff is very friendly, but they need to do some maintenance and refurbishment. The garden with water fountain looks good. The pint and pig out restaurant is just a short walk away and definitely good food. The breakfast is cereals, toast, eggs, bacon savory mince beans mushrooms, coffee and juices and muffins.

We were a group of +- 90 people overnighting at the lodge after a long day on the road. The staff at Majuba Lodge was set up and waiting for us. Very friendly and well organised. The accommodation is comfortable for a short stay, some maintenance is needed. The Lodge is well situated, the pub/resturant on the property offers very good meals, in a friendy setting.

Love this place. Heaven in the middle of “nowhere”. We came there after Swaziland border crossing, just before closing (22:00) and were warm welcomed. They gave us room (R700 no BKF, R900 room with breakfast for 2). Breakfast definitely cost it. And they have a meerkat!!! Friendly and supportive owner and all staff. Home away from home. Wish we can stay there more than one night.
