It didn’t get off to a good start as check in for the people in front of us was painfully long and we were stuck out in the blazing heat due to social distancing. We chose a room with a kitchenette and four beds, which was on the fifth floor, the lift is very small and a bit shaky! The room itself was perfectly good, beds were comfy, the tv channels had different language options which the pleased the kids, bathroom was a good size with a shower head that came down to child height which was very handy, and the kitchenette had what we needed for a couple nights stay. Only downside was the fourth campbed had to be put in front of the cupboard so there was nowhere to put our luggage. It’s conveniently located for the train station, bus to Chateau Chillon and the waterfront. We’d stay here again as a family.…
I stayed here recently on Saturday and Sunday nights. The style is very IKEA-ish, which appealed to me. I had booked a single but the friendly receptionist, who was charming throughout my stay, gave me a big double corner room. Wifi worked well in my room. The area is residential and very quiet. The location is great for a budget hotel. Both the casino, (home of the free Queen exhibition, though I was more interested in Montreux's Deep Purple connection), and the beautiful lake were a two minute walk away. I would stay here again if I returned to Montreux.
This is a nice clean place with standard rooms of standard size. The staff are very friendly and the location is really handy, only about 100 m from the casino in a quiet side street. The only thing that wasn't so good was that there was only a single duvet for a double bed, which made sleeping a bit too cosy.
I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and it had two main problems that they really fixed now: the wifi is now free in all the hotel, including rooms (not before) and they changed the staff, who is now different and they are really nice and helpful (Something that wasn't like this before). I'm very happy they changed this two aspects. The location is great and very comfortable beds. The heater wasn't working and we were cold the first night, they never fixed it but they did give us at least a small portable heater.
As you'd expect, a clean, functional room. Very convenient for central Montreux and the festival, and a nice walk along the lake front. Hotel car parking is very convenient. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine, selection of fruit, pastries, cheese, etc.
