Nice hotel in the middle of Montreux. I booked a single room and got a nice double room which was bigger than expected - as normal for hotels located in traditional areas of a city. I can highly recommend it to travelers and couples staying for a few days in this area.

We had a room with a balcony that had water views & was located opposite the beautiful promenade. The room wasn’t huge but there was enough room for your bags and to move around. Everything was kept simple. Easy walking distance (flat & downhill) from the train station - if walking back to the train station, do so from the front street until you see the escalator taking you up to the train station. Very modern and everything worked well. Lacked a few things like tea/coffee and fridge which would really make it fabulous! The restaurant is downstairs (was very busy and sadly for us booked out when we stayed) and breakfast was provided. Standard continental of cereals, bread, yoghurt, ham, cheese, croissant. Sufficient to start the day. Thankfully there is a lift to get you up to your room. We didn't encounter much noise at night so had a good sleep. We had a great but short stay here and would recommend.

This hotel was a bit disappointing, from the very basic front desk where to attendant sat behind and with little escape from the comings and goings, to small hot rooms to the breakfast that was expensive and not great. We had a room partially over looking the lake on the first floor. The upside is that is provided a view but the downside is that it was very noisy and due to it being hot we had to have the door open which made it even noisier. There was no fridge or kettle provided in the room (though they did get a kettle for us to use). Breakfast was not included so we had to pay 12CHF each for a breakfast that consisted of very little food that looked like it was just shoved on a shelf in a small area with tables and chairs, the coffee machine was not even working. It is pushed over the line to 3 stars due to the location. It is handy not train and Lake Geneva.

Stayed one night in Montreux on trip from Geneva to Lucerne. Lovely hotel in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the train station beside the lake. No views but not far to go to see all the views! Room was small but had everything you needed and spotless. No aircon but no issue leaving window open as really quiet outside. No hesitation recommending the hotel. Make sure you go on the Golden Pass train afterwards.... wow. Queen studios also superb

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was updated, the bathroom was huge and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was that due to it being summer, we had to keep the windows open, and we heard street noise until late in the night. All three nights we were woken up by groups of people (teens mostly) talking and shouting on the Main Street. The location is great because it is so central and close to the train station, but the downside is that it is not quiet.
