Nice property with decent rooms with a nice view on the lake. Not close to the city, though. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of choices. I was utterly disappointed for being mislead when making the booking. When asked about the price for one night in Marriott Bonvoy points, the answer was "2" The answer on the possibility of paying cash and points was confirmed, that this is possible upon check-out. At check-out I was informed that the price for paying one night with points and cash was $200 in cash and "3" points. The amounts of points mentioned is just to showcase and are not the actual amount of points. Upon complaining of this huge overnight inflation, nobody cared and even afterwards neither the hotel management or Marriott Bonvoy cares about their "loyal" customers. Time to look for other alternatives...…
I was invited for the brunch on the 1st of January with my family. Very nice set up, variety and quality food! However, not sure if the space between the tables was COVID friendly though, but overall amazing brunch experience! And thanks to Youcef for the good service and welcoming behavior.
It was my 2nd visit to Geneva. It was amazing to stay here in Hotel President Wilson located on the wonderful scene of Geneva lake. Its location is central and near to Geneva airport and downtown. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was lovely and nice. Really, if to would like to stay there you will enjoy in this luxurious, relaxing and amazing place
This was my first stay at the property, and I came away very impressed. I was in Geneva for a conference, and the location can't be better for easy walking access to trams, train station, and the Rue des Paquis area for dining and shopping. My room was excellent with nice amenities - no issues with internet access and concierge was helpful for recommendations and business needs. I hope to be able to stay again in the future.
Lovely hotel on Lake Geneva with short walk to train station or ferry. A bit of wear in some common areas, and the room. Would stay again for the location and services. The staff are very helpful & friendly. The two concierges were both helpful with reservations & questions. Thibault checked us in and escorted us to room on 2nd floor overlooking pool. Large windows with view toward the lake. Bathroom with tub/shower combo was adequate size for a weekend stay. The breakfast buffet included plenty of options, however it’s best not to wait until end of breakfast to have the most choices. The hotel faces the lake with a walk to old town 15 minutes away for designer brand shopping.
