The hotel is located near the train station, but the windows are really good, so there is no noise.
The rooms are really clean and they look exactly like in the photos. The staff is amazing, they give you tips to where to go visit, how to get there, where to eat good and where to buy souvenirs. It is a family business, and therefore the hotel has a great vibe. It was nice meeting you, hope i ll see you again soon. I recommend it for visiting florence - close to the doumo, walkable.

Staff was great. We arrived early afternoon and were able to get into a room right away rather than storing our luggage and coming back later. Internet was fine. I didn't go hungry at breakfast. Room was small with a step up needed to get to the bathroom, which could cause problems at night. There was a safe in the room that was big enough to store everything that I wanted to lock up. Our room overlooked the train station and although it wasn't totally silent, there was no problem with noise. If walking from the train station, I'd recommend turning right instead of turning left, though the directions I had either way being equidistant. Going left involves going under an overpass and it's much more likely that you'll miss the hotel. If you go right, it's on a dead end and you have to keep your eyes open the first time you approach it. As is always the case, going from the hotel to the train station is a lot easier than the opposite since you know where you're going. The hotel is not in the center of tourist attractions, but we walked to everywhere that we went (we're in our late 60s).

Well, this is not a hotel, it’s a second home. Owner and staff are not doing a job, they’re helping from all their hearts. You might find many similar hotels, but it’s really difficult to feel as comfortable and safe as in this place♥️ However rooms are spacious, breakfast is so yummy and the coffee is super tasty. I’m sure if you visit it once it would never be the last. Thank you Luxor Florence🤍

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (April 24-26,2024). This hotel is a 1 star hotel at the most (NOT A 3 STAR PROPERTY as advertised). Its the worst hotel that I ever stayed - very poor condition. Look at some of the provided photos (damaged walls / needed painting, mold in shower,..). No tissues in the bathroom and when asked for some, we were told to just use the toilet paper. There are plenty of real 3 star hotels in the same area to chose with same / better pricing.

Best hotel in florence highly recommend this hotel. Close to everything around 10-15 minutes to all attractions specially from in front of hotel one bus goes directly to piazza michelangelo. Even though it’s close to train lines but at night after 11 no train pass from there and there are two windows in room so because of that even train pass you can’t hear noise of train. Best hotel in italy so far and breakfast was great aswell.

Our experience with this hotel was really amazing, the staff and management were very welcoming and courteous, they helped us making a wonderful tour to Tuscany regions, and guided us to tour the city of Florence… room was quite big and clean, breakfast was always fresh and delicious, free cappuccino all day long! They make us feel like home.
The hotel is very near to the buss and train stations and walkable distance to everywhere.
A special thanks for Mrs.Elizabeth and costantino and sarra.
See you soon.

Three star hotel which does not deserve it.
Accomodarion is just above the railway station and near the traffic tunel. Very noisy place. It looks like improvized space.
Rooms are small, there is no space for luggage. Unless you want to follow trains time table do not open the windows. Beds in a double room are small like for children, elevator is spacious enough for two persons without any luggage.
Staff at the reception speak poor English and they are useless to help you in any way.
Breakfast is poor, only coffee is fine and yogurt. It reduces to this.
In summary, unless you can not afford or find better hotel, reorganize your trip to Florence. I do not advise it even for one night stay.

My family, a group of 9, recently completed a 3 night stay at the Luxor Hotel in Florence. We were in Florence to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. We could not have been more pleased with our stay! Not only is the hotel clean and excellently located in the heart of Florence, but the hospitality and service we received was the best of any hotel we’ve stayed at.

The family run hotel is run by Elizabeth, Adriana and Cosimo. They took wonderful care of us and made us feel like we were part of their family. They helped us plan our visit to Florence and the surrounding areas to make the most of our time there. Each morning and afternoon, they also treated us to wonderful cappuccinos, espressos, and tea. But the icing on the cake was when Cosimo drove my elderly parents to Ponte Vecchio after we were unable to get a taxi due to the taxi drivers going on strike! Had he not done that, they would have missed out on one of the must see sights of Florence.

Molte grazie Elizabeth, Adriana, and Cosimo for making our visit to Florence exceptionally comfortable and memorable. I will certainly stay with you again during my next visit to Florence and recommend your hotel to all my family and friends.

Do not waste your money. Please read all articles. Maybe they are racist.
All photo are lie. They gave me first floor of room and there is no elevator for lobby to 1st piano. Only lift for baggage and stroller. My mom leg has some muscle trouble and back bone disk, so she needs to use elevator must. But they said this is same as elevator, that's not. Looks not safety to human.
Also the room condition is messed up. High humidity air is very dirt so we saw many mosquitoes and water drops in the room. When we use air conditionor, it makes big noise but no cooling. Bedding blanket is looks like cheapest stuff and not clean. Now my mother's skin has allergic trouble because of room condition. Bathroom has mold in somewhere and so harsh. They said all bedding items are duck down but it is truly not. There is some nice condition another rooms but they gave us most suck room. So we tried all night cancelation except 1 night because we already slept first night. But they said we need to earn money for our staffs. That woman owner is so rude. We have trouble because of your room condition but she asked us only money. So we moved hotel immediately and waste our money. They are rude because we're Asian. I don't know why we can't cancel this bad room with reasonable issue. I'll send all information to Customer Association and they'll help us.
Also first floor rooms are noisy. You can here all other room sound and another door rock sound every night. I'm sure.

Bertha and her family are very excellent in managing this hotel, they offer nice spread of breakfast (free!!), free coffee all day, no elevator but the guys will be happy to help you bring up the luggages, room is nice and spacious with comfortable beds, towel change daily and room is cleaned everyday. they also give nice suggestions for the restaurants in florence and the restaurants were really good. highly recommended hotel and we will come back here again if we go to Florence. Downside is a bit far from the centrale station maria novella but take cab would cost €15 and less hassle with the luggages.
