A very central hotel close to all amenities- very comfortable and quiet rooms. The staff very friendly and helpful. No issue to leave luggage (as we arrived early and left late )
A supermarket right next door was an added bonus. Also great restaurant (La Grotta di Leo) and pub (Joshua Tree), a stones throw away in Via della Scalađź‘Ťđź‘Ť

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (room 308) and the experience was positive. The staff are friendly and welcoming (apart from one guy at the desk right at the entrance shouting some nonsense over the phone while people are checking-in and checking-out).
The positives:
The room was small but clean and very well equipped with free of charge water in the mini bar which is unusual. The breakfast was good, the parking service was efficient although it was quite expensive. The location is brilliant as it is a short walk from all the main sites and there's a supermarket as well as numerous restaurants within 2 minutes walk
The negatives:
The hotel's layout is very poor and as a result there is a lack of space and consequently some services are impacted. For example, the lift can carry just two people which means that if there is somebody else you need to wait or take the stairs. The breakfast area is downstairs behind the reception and given the lack of space the food is spread across 3-4 tables which are separated by corridors and therefore it involves walking from one hall to the other to collect pieces of breakfast.
Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend the place for a short stay.

Dear Guest, thank you for staying at our Hotel Club in Florence and for writing this positive review. It is always a pleasure to read who has had a good experience especially thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room, together with the location of the Hotel. The common spaces such as the elevators, which are still two, unfortunately are not large in our structure for architectural barriers, as in several buildings in the historic center of Florence. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome again soon and in the meantime we send our best regards. Alessandro P.

I was initially allocated a room with a window looking onto a concrete wall and no daylight at all. When I asked for another room I was suggested to turn the light on! The room was like a cupboard...unable to fully open the bathroom door as the sink was in the way. They did move me the next day as they were fully booked the first night, and did it without any fuss, but I felt that they thought I was being awkward.
The second room was OK and more in line with expectations, so I think I was unlucky the first time. I imagine most of the rooms are the better ones. I imagine they allocated me the less nice room as I was travelling alone.
The downstairs dining area is basically a corridor and during the day has piles of sheets and trolleys used by the cleaners. It doesn't make it nice to sit there.
The breakfast was distinctly average. The hot water for tea was tepid not hot. Coffee was undrinkable. There was sliced bread, processed cheese and salami, tasteless rubbery scrambled egg and greasy bacon. No gluten free options. All of this was OK for 3star but definitely not 4star.
The staff tried to be helpful but gave wrong information in response to basic questions ( where can I buy a bus ticket and where can I post a letter). The tourist information office over the road was much more helpful and kind. I ended up walking long extra distances because of the incorrect device.
On the plus side, the location near the train station is very convenient and most places are within 30minutes walk. There are buses for the longer distances. There is a small supermarket next door. I felt safe in the location. There is traffic noise outside, but inside it was fine.

The hotel's location was ideal, close to the station and the center, you can walk anywhere. Although being located in a busy street the rooms are very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is very clean and pleasant. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always had a smile on their face and made us feel very welcomed.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Save yourself the headache and lack of customer support. Once they receive your money they don’t care about the customer, they don’t care about your experience with them, and will not assist you with your needs. There are way better hotels in the area. It’s a very sketchy hotel. I’m honestly glad it didn’t work out because there are several reviews of them drilling through safety deposit boxes and stealing money. They only want your money.
I needed to change the dates of my reservation on a nonrefundable booking made on Priceline. I contacted the hotel not even a day after the reservation was made asking to move the dates of my stay and they were very inconsistent with their responses and disorganized. One email Elisei said to book another reservation either directly through them or another site then once they receive that they will cancel the first reservation. How convenient that the prices had tripled in price for a new reservation starting the last day of our original reservation, so I asked them to work with me. The next email Giada responds saying the only way to change the dates is through Priceline and they cannot modify the dates or cancel the reservation themselves… what? They had just said that they have the ability to cancel a reservation if you make a new one. I forwarded what Elisei had proposed in her email. They kept saying it’s out of their control. So much back and forth on this throughout the week. Then a week since the start of the issue, Nicolae says they cannot modify the dates because they are fully booked and that they were trying to move the dates when clearly they weren’t actively trying to modify anything. They took over a week to say “We tried to make an exception by moving your dates but we can't because we no longer have availability.” That was the end of that conversation because they said they cannot do anything. How convenient they wait until they are fully booked to say they were trying, therefore leaving the customer stuck with no way out of the reservation and losing their money.
They take forever to answer your emails. When you call, you are bounced around from person to person until someone finally says they are working on a resolution and will email you. They don’t email you. You have to again, reach out to them. The reality is, they are unprofessional, unorganized, and don’t care about the customer.
There was never a resolution. Over a week of nonstop emails asking for their help in either moving the dates of my stay or giving Priceline permission to cancel the reservation, and nothing.
So yeah, save your money.

We arrived at the hotel, which is a short walk from the train station. Having booked a double room with breakfast, we were shown to a room on the ground floor. THis room was right on a busy street, next to the breakfast room, and the laundry room. Our first night was truly awful. We were constantly woken up by the traffic, and then at 3am by the laundry trolly, and then at 6am when people came down for breakfast. If they try and lead you to room 99 turn around! We complained in the morning, and were told they would offer us one free breakfast, which we had already paid for anyway. THis was all a bit frustrating and stressful.
After sorting this out we were moved to a normal room upstairs, which was perfectly nice. If we had been put here initially I would give this 5 stars.

Four of us rented two rooms. Location (very near rail station) was very convenient; we were able to walk to many of the sights we wanted to visit, and found the front desk staff very helpful in guiding us when we needed to hire a taxi.
Rooms vary in size, so if size matters state that in your booking. Breakfast buffet was well above average. Outside noise was a minimum, and in fact, not an issue.

An ideal location and price for a 2 night visit whilst touring Italy and had no need for luxury. Booked this hotel due to the proximity to the train station and need to leave luggage on arrival. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We had a comfort room which is recommended. Clean and very pleasant.
We did not have breakfast in the hotel, (cost was €12 euro each) instead bought fruit and yogurts from the Carrefour next door.
Would stay here again.

The location right next to the train station is what attracted me to this hotel as we were going to be using the trains each day and didn't want to walk a long way there and back with luggage. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, with modern finishes and amenities. The staff was friendly and we had no issues with our reservation or check-in/out. While the location is best for its proximity to the train station pretty much every attraction in the city is walkable as well.

Near to train station and bus station. Most sightseeing places are within walking distance. It is very convenient also with supermarket and cafes nearby. Only downside to me is it can be noisy from road sound to next door neighbours as the room wall seems very thin. Very friendly and helpful reception. If I am in Florence very likely I may stay here again.
