Great location for visiting this amazing city. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the very friendly staff. We were a party of six and we were given rooms next to one another. The rooms were very comfortable offering views across the river. Breakfast...More
This hotel is gorgeous: full of character yet very fresh and modern inside. It's one of the few hotels I've booked where it was even more lovely than the photos.

Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night. Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the Central National Library. As a hub for young people, the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated by songs and dances.

Hotel is within walking distance to everything. It is centrally located to multiple restaurants and shopping is wonderful on both sides of the river particularly on the hotel side where you will find the most “touristy” sites. A four year old might find more enjoyment riding in something as there is much to see and you will walk everywhere. Taking taxis can be expensive if you use that as your primary source of transport. As for mosquitos, we were there in Dec and last time in the fall so not sure; the hotel is on the riverfront. I would take all necessary precautions simply because there are large bodies of water. The internet is a bit cumbersome so if planning to do much work just know it is not sign-in once and you’re done type of thing. That is the only real objection we had staying at this property. Breakfast is easy, well executed and has enough choices for your child.
